Y/N WAS RIPPED FROM HER dreams with a painful sensation, and a yell left her lips as she opened her eyes to find herself ... on the ground.

She cursed several times under her breath, pushing herself with her knees and wincing at the steady throbbing ache that promised several bruises to come over the next few days.

"Y/N?"

A voice, attractively low with sleepiness, directed her attention back upwards to the tree she'd fallen out of, to see Sabito, hanging over a branch like a cat, his cheek pressed against the rough bark as he blearily peered down at her, eyes cloudy.

"Sorry," she whispered. "I didn't mean to wake you up."

A glance at the sky revealed that it was still solidly in the middle of the day, and exhaustion washed over her from the previous night's antics.

Sabito chuckled - a low sound, almost wheezing with humour, and Y/N could see his eyes squeeze close together as his laugh reached her ears. "Did- did you fall out of the tree, Y/N?"

"Shut up," she flushed, her eyes never leaving him as he leaped from his own branch, a blur of movement until he landed squarely on his feet, crossing his legs as a child may have.
