Bet you didn't see this coming, ha, me either. But here we are and here you are. Are you sitting comfortably? Good. Then we can begin.

If you can remember from the last time, I told Zak I am pregnant. His reaction was not what I was expecting.

"I'm pregnant." Zak almost burst into tears again. He looks around for something to say or do and when nothing arrives to help him I open my mouth and speak. "Aren't you going to say something, hell say fucking anything." I beg. Zak looks at me.

"I erm...need sometime to think about this. Don't, don't wait up for me." He says. He places his keys onto the side and walks out of the house.

"Zak...Wai..! " But the door was shut before anymore words can be exchanged.

Zak's POV:

How? How could I have done that to her? Just walk out. I find out I'm going to be a dad and within seconds I walk out on her like that. What kind of a man does that? Do I want to be a dad? Not right now no but things like this happen. Do I want her to keep the baby? Of course I wouldn't wish harm on anyone in this way, especially my wife and unborn child. But it's her decision to decide, I know it's half of mine too, but she is the one who will have to share her body with a growing human for 9 months while all I can do is sit and watch helplessly. But most of all.
I'm terrified. I'm terrified I could never be the best dad in the world, because I'm not always going to be there. And when I am I'll be sleeping. The child may as well not have a Father if that's the case. But I could never tell Tige that, it would break her heart.

I walk for a while longer, not really having a destination in mind. One of the perks of living in the city that never sleeps it that somewhere, there is a bar that's open. The Charleston just across the road from the museum is the first one I stumble upon. I take a breath and wonder if I should go in, or go home and comfort my wife, tell her things are going to be ok and that no matter what happens I'll stand by her always. I mean that would be the sensible thing to do. instead my feet carry me inside over to the bar.

"Hey Zak, fancy seeing you here. What will it be?" Steve the bartender calls.

"Jack and coke please." I say. Steve gets to poring my drink when a very blonde, very drunk woman comes over. I give her a hard line smile and she beams at me.

"It's a bit early to be drinking isn't it?" She asks.

"Or a bit late depending on how you look at it." I say fiddling with the placement mat on the bar. She giggles.

"Night owl?" She asks.

"Something like that yeah." I say, trying to keep the conversation small.

"That's a gorgeous ring." She says gliding her finger across my band.

"Thanks. My wife has one just like it." I say defensively.

"Well, your wife is very lucky to have such a handsome man like yourself sleeping next to her every night." She smiles at me. I know that smile. Tige gives me that smile all the time. "I'm Holly by the way. Nice to meet you." She says holding out her hand. I just nod in her direction. And she takes it upon herself to sit next to me. "You having marriage trouble?"

"I don't see how that is any of your concern." I bite a little.

"Sorry, just trying to make conversation." She scowls a little. Steve hands me my drink.

"On the house Zak." I thank him and turn to Holly and say.

"Sorry but I don't know you and you don't know me. I'm not about to tell you my entire life story because you batted your eyelids at me and complimented me a little." I throw back my drink and leave the bar. I knew going in there would be a bad idea. I need to go home and talk to Tiger. I want this baby with her. Even if I'm not ready to be a Father yet, I'm going to have to make myself ready. I make my way back to my door and I hear a crash come from inside the house. Bursting through the door I see Tige, kicking and flailing around, hanging from the beam in the kitchen with some rope. "TIGE!" I run over to her aid and lift her body up, stopping the tension between her and the rope. "BaBy NO!" I struggle to speak. "TAKE IT OFF!" I shout and to my surprise she listens. However, I only have hold of her calves. And she slips out of my grip coming down hard, landing tummy down on the edge of the breakfast table like a rag doll. "Baby! Tige?..." I shake her but she doesn't wake. I check to see if she still has a pulse. It's weak but there is one. I pull out my phone and call for an ambulance. And within minutes flashing blue lights and paramedics rush to her attention.

"What happened sir!" Asks the paramedic.

"We had an argument and I left. Came home to find her hanging from the beam. I tried to help her but she fell from my grip and based down onto the counter top! Oh god please help her! She's pregnant." I cry. The paramedic looks at me with huge concern

"Blues on now! We need immediate attention." The paramedic radios in.

"Are my babies going to be ok?" I ask in panic as she is stretched out the house.

"I can't answer that sir. I'm sorry." The paramedic offers for me to get in the ambulance with them and without hesitation I'm in. I look down at my unconscious wife and bawl my eyes out.

"I'm so sorry baby." I cry. I place my hand on her stomach and my head on her chest "Don't leave me." I weep. "I'm sorry."
