Cordelia

It was an ordinary January day, followed by and ordinary January night. Or it started that way at least.

"Ok," Leon began to speak as his head rested in Lexi's lap with the majority of the group spread out around the common room. "If you could be any animal or creature, what would you be?"

We all sat slightly more up right as we began to answer the question. "Oo, I'd probably be an eagle," Enzo answered "Or some sort of bird"

"Yeah a chicken maybe" Leon quipped back.

"Or maybe a parrot" I entered in, "they're quite beautiful but fuckin hell they're annoying."

The others laughed as Enzo pulled faces at both me and Leon. "I'm not going to ignore the fact that you just called me beautiful Lia," he smirked.

"Yeah, I noticed that too," venus said. "You're not trying to steal my man are you now?"

I laughed, "Heavens no, I'm very happy with the man I have thank you. Speaking of, have any of you seen Mattheo?" I asked looking around the room, "Or Draco or Blaise for that matter..." The three of them were missing which was unusual given that it was a sunday afternoon. An afternoon where everyone does fuck all and then stresses over the pages that are due for Monday's transfiguration class.

"No, I haven't seen any of them," Lexi replied, "Maybe they're down in the library,"

Highly unlikely knowing them -"maybe," I said, "I might go down there now anyway,"

I got up from the sofa I was sat on and headed out the door and down to the library. It was relatively busy but I managed to find an empty table in the back corner. Before I went to sit down, I had a look in the restrictive section to find something to read on horcruxes. My eyes darted across the spines of each book, scanning through the alphabet until finally my eyes landed on H. My finger traced delicately along the books picking out the book titled "Horcruxes: splitting the soul". I picked it out of the shelf and retreated back to the table I had found.

It wasn't a big book, no more than one hundred pages. But the detail was incredible. The book not only included the information on horcruxes but other dark magic too. I began to read, filling my head with knowledge I was unsure I really wanted to know. I started upon a page that read "Reversing a horcrux" and suddenly my eyes grew big.

Although extremely rare, horcruxes can be reversed. If the object that the wizard or witch chose to become a horcrux is not what they desire it to be anymore, they can transfer the magic to another object. The spell is extremely hard to perform and in most cases proves unsuccessful but it is not impossible.
