As soon as he passed the line where the second Rolex sign was, all the cars from the pits started exiting.
Esteban was in front but George drove up on the side and cut in front everyone moving himself into second.
By lap 4, Lewis realized he should've changed tires and I saw his mechanics getting ready meaning he'll box the end of this lap.
George had to drop back positions for his stunt in the pit lane.
Lewis pitted for his new tires and dropped down to last. Esteban was now leading.
"thats a first"
"you're telling me"
Seb was second and Nicholas was third.
On lap 6 Nikita had a collision with Kimi in the pit lane which caused him to DNF.
tsk tsk tsk
6 cars out now.
I never thought I would see the day that both Williams would be in the points.

Lap 9 Lewis was complaining.
It's not like his team did anything wrong, he made the wrong choice himself.
Antonio was doing his best to hold off Lewis.
"hold him jesus!" I yelled.
"if you need to compromise my race now, I will do it. I will box early. prioritize Nicky" George said through the radio on lap 10.

Lewis eventually got ahead of Antonio.
Antonio got a penalty for speeding in the pit lane so he boxed on lap 12 to serve it.
Nicholas was holding off everyone for Esteban and Seb.
Lap 14 Max was trying to pass Mick to get into the points but he couldn't.
Esteban has a 1.2 second lead on Seb whilst Seb has a good few seconds on Nicholas.
After all of Mick's defending, Max got ahead in lap 15.
Lap 16, Gasly passed Mick and Kimi boxed to serve his penalty.
Daniel was in 8th right now.

Nicholas was still doing an amazing job keeping the line of cars behind him.
Lap 20 Lewis comes into the pits for a set of hards.
One lap later Daniel comes in followed by his old teammate. Max gets his tires on first but Daniel pulls out in time to be ahead.
As they were coming out Lewis was able to undercut them.
He was now up into the points.
Lap 23 both Yuki and George pitted. Carlos told his team to wait to pit as he can still push with these tires.
Finally on lap 24, Nicky pitted losing his spot.
Esteban and Seb still hadn't pitted and are still leading. Carlos was now in 3rd.
By lap 27 Lewis passed Nicholas who wasn't fighting for a podium anymore.
"there's too much damage on Daniel's car" Andreas sighed.
40 laps to go
Gasly pitted lap 31 and Yuki replaced him in P5. Lewis was currently in 6th.
Lap 33 Lewis succeeds in passing the Alpha Tauri.
Ferrari finally pitted Carlos and he returned three seconds ahead of Lewis.
Lap 34 George passes Mick putting him in P9.
"yes George!" I clapped.
Lap 35, Daniel manages to pass Mick and Max follows in suit.
I squealed shaking Lando.
Lap 37 Seb pitted and Lap 38 Esteban pitted. Fernando was now leading.
Esteban got out the pits in time to stay ahead of the Aston Martin. Fernando pitted lap 40, giving the lead back to his teammate.
Lewis pitted lap 48.

He's still 14 seconds behind Fernando.
On lap 51, Toto told Lewis he can win this.
"theres no chance" Lando snickered.
I wouldn't usually say this but I agree.
He can't catch up to Esteban and Seb.
The team told Daniel to consider the undercut to get Russell but he responded by saying the tires are shit and burnt out.
Lap 57, Fernando held off Lewis from passing him.
"hang in there you can do this" the engineers told Daniel.
By lap 60 the stewards made their decision on the lap 1 crash.
Valterri received a drop of 5 grid positions for the next race and two penalty points for causing an avoidable collision in Turn 1.

Alonso was still fending off Lewis like a god and Max got ahead of Daniel on lap 61.
I looked over at Lando who was typing away on his phone.
"are you seriously tweeting right now?"
"uh huh"
My phone then dinged as he posted the tweet.
Well that was a great race.
Lap 65 Fernando locked up allowing for Lewis to pass.
Daniel got caught up in the fight between Lewis and Carlos and had to pull away as he was about to be lapped.
Lewis spied the opportunity and pulled alongside Sainz into the first corner and emerged in front.
"he did it" I chuckled.
Esteban won, Seb came in second and Lewis came in third.
I was happy for Esteban but even more happier for George.
he got his points!
I teared up a little watching him get the checkered flag.
