They get everything they want.
Their always the favourite.
They get all of the parents attention.

That may be true. But you don't have to see your siblings grow up.

They slowly, fade apart.

It starts with slowly stops wanting to play made up games, then to always hanging out with friends.

That all may be true. But you don't have to go through Christmas Eve night all alone bc your siblings can actually sleep through it.

As you sit there in the dark, memories flashing back, having conversations about how you were lucky if you got even 1 hour of sleep that night, or how we were counting down seconds to be able to wake up mom and dad.

It may be true. But you don't have to see your best friend who you've known your whole life move away to go to college.

As you sit in bed a week before they move out, thinking all about the times your gonna walk by there empty room. Or how your only going to see them for a week every year for Christmas.

It may be true. But you don't have to be the only one left at the dinner table.

It may be true. But you don't have to suffer any of that.
