Your POV:

He walks up to a different building this time, one with several aisles, packets and boxes of every colour under the Sun neatly arranged on them. A young boy wearing a lime green polo greets us from his place behind the counter before returning to his own phone.

Jimin walks up ahead, the duckling seems to have taken quite a liking towards him, quietly and comfortably sitting on his shoulder.

He heads right for an aisle with cylindrical cup like things, picking the two in black, further down the aisles we reach these large glass doors with an endless supply of drinks inside. Pulling it open, he grabs a small silver can from the bottom and glances at me weirdly.

Needing to rely on his phone once more, he one-handedly types something while balancing the other 3 items in his arm.

'How many years are you?'

I'm going to go with the wild guess of him asking for my age.

I type the numbers back.

230.

His jaw falls upon reading it, shoving his phone back he takes yet another silver can. He heads up to the cashier who silently scans the items.

Woah theres so much food here, all the little sweets and chocolates I've only read about all now right in front. I tap his arm, earning a nonchalant hum from him, the cashier dropping the black cup in his hands.

Both our heads divert to him instead, the young boy stands there gaping, blinking at me, the dip of the neckline on my dress specifically.

Hello, yes I know I'm beautiful but staring at the chest-friends is a tad rude... wait aren't I invisible?

I wave my hands in his face, even going as far as clapping right in front of his nose but theres no reaction. He squints a little harder before rubbing his eyes, picking up the cup and apologising to Jimin.

I wonder what happened.

After a ride around in a taxi we're now in front of yet another building, one even taller than than his home.

Tapping his elbow, I hold my palm out for his phone, something he skeptically hands over

"Where are we?"

Tired eyes glance over the words as we step into an elevator, quickly typing a reply and showing it.

'My house'

Ohhh his house... wait then what the heck was the other place?

Ping.

Doors slide open an elderly couple with their young grandchild, stare at Jimin whos holding his phone up to no one and has a duckling resting in his palm. The confused grandfather clutches his grandchilds hand tighter.

With a nod Jimin slips past them heading down the halls without a single glance back, myself barely catching up.

Jeez even with short legs this guy sure walks fast.

His actual house is house far more organised than the room from earlier and looks more like a house, with a kitchen and no random strangers walking around, but somehow it feels lonelier here.

Lights flicker on and he dumps his bag of stuff by the entryway and placing the duckling on the floor before heading to the kitchen with the stuff he bought. He pours hot water into the little plastic cups and powder packets, all his movements slow and laden with fatigue except when he eats. Now in the living room, he lays sprawled across the sofa, yawning into his fists.
