Kelli's POV
"YOOOUUUUU!!!!!!" I yelled, pointing at the evil creature sitting on my sofa.
"Hi" Billy said casually.
"YOUR THAT GUY FROM TODAY!"
"Good job." He said like I was a baby who finally knew my alphabet.
"AND...AND THATS MY LAST CAN OF SPRITE!"
"What a shame."
"GAAAHHH!! I paced the living room while I ran my hand through my hair in frustration and horror for the overwhelming thought. Billy was drinking my pop trying to hold his amusement while our parents started at me weirdly.
"Is there something were missing?" My dad asked impatiently.
"Well Mr Berglund, Kelli here is just flustered over the fact that she was checking me-"
"YOU SHUT UP!" I stopped pacing and pointed at Billy again. We met eyes and I quickly looked away, still not used to his sudden change in his attractiveness.
"That's enough! The Unger's are finally back and all your doing is giving us a headache." Mum scolded.
"Don't say that to Kelli! I'm sure they're just arguing since they're so shocked and happy to see each other after a long time." Mrs Unger defended. I nodded my head excessively, making it seem convincing.
"Well now that we're all here, why don't we head over to your house and help you unpack." My dad offered.
"You guys are so sweet! We could use the help we can get." Mrs Unger said. We all left the house and went to Billy's and started working. One hour later
I was helping Mrs Unger hang the picture frames on the wall while Billy was putting the things away in the kitchen.
"I feel bad. It's been six years since you've seen Billy and you haven't got the chance to catch up with him yet." Mrs Unger sighed. I bit my bottom lip to prevent myself from laughing.
"No it's fine. you don't have to worry about me." I said casually.
"Don't say that. I'm sure you're dying to talk to him. Billy!" She called. Billy looked up from his Tupperware arranging.
"Yes"
"Why don't you take Kelli to your room and unpack together." Mrs Unger suggested. Billy's eyes moved towards me and stared at me in an unreadable expression. He used to always do that in primary school, but it's so much different now he's extremely ho-
"Come on Keeky." Billy apathetically said, heading out of the kitchen. I gasped at him as he walked up the stairs.
"IT'S KELLI YOU INSENSITIVE JERK!" I ran up after him and stormed into his room. But by the time I burst through his door he was already on his bed reading a magazine.
"Everything's already unpacked here." I stated observing his room.
"Good job. Want a trophy? Billy said disinterestedly his eyes not leaving the magazine.
"Then why didn't you tell your mum."
I said ignoring his sarcastic comment.
"So that way I don't have to help unpack downstairs." Billy replied.
"Wow you really are a jerk. I'm going to back down and help." I started walking off. Billy swiftly say up and grabbed my hand, yanking me back into his bed.
"WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT FOR!" I snapped sitting up and facing him.
"Stay here. If my mum sees you she'll get all sad that we aren't spending quality time together unpacking." Billy said.
"But we're not unpacking." I affirmed.
"But we're spending quality time together, aren't we? Billy smiled. I rolled my eyes and crawled over to his window.
"Dis you miss staring at me 24/7 in your room?" Billy asked from behind me.
"I HAVE NEVER STARED AT YOU!" I turned around sharply to face him and noticed he was a little too close. Billy crinkled his nose from this and scooted back.
"Your actually pretty lucky about the whole window adjacent thing. Do you know how many times you could've been late for school without me?" I said.
"Oh how lucky am I to have an annoying brat scream on top of her lungs every mornings?" Billy said sarcastically.
"Do you think I like screaming on top of my lungs so early in the bloody morning? The things I do for and idiot like you." I rolled my eyes.
"Why did you even go through the effort then?" Billy asked.
"Because I'm a nice person, unlike you." I started opening the window.
"Well I'm kind of sick of you no surprise there so I'm going to head back. Since I can't go downstairs I'll just have to jump into my room from here."
"Ahhhh the memories. Try not to fall into a painful death." Billy added.
"Thanks." I said as I jumped through his window and successfully grabbed onto the ledge of mine. with my free hand I took a bobby pin out of my hair and twisted it around the keyhole.i heard a click and lifted up the window up victoriously jumping into my room. I wiped my non- existed dust off my hand and turned to Billy with a smug grin.2AM
It's freaking 2AM IN THE MORNING!
Why can't I sleep you ask? Oh maybe it's because of the idiot next door neighbour blasting his music to a volume that I didn't even know existed.
"Come on Kelli sleep." I mumbled to myself.
"Just ignore Billy and let your mind-"
WHATS MY AGE AGAIN!!!???
I ripped the covers off me and getting up from my bed and opening the window.
"IF YOU DONT SHUT YOUR STUPID MUSIC IM GONNA MURDER SOMEBODY!!!!!" I threatened. Suddenly Billy sat up from his bed, revealing himself through the window He opened the window which made the music even louder, making me flinch.
"HOW CAN YOU CALL THIS SONG STUPID!!!!!?????" Billy yelled over the music.
"TURN IT OFF!!! WE HAVE SCHOOL TOMORROW REMEMBER!!!" I shouted back.
"IM SORRY WHAT!!!!" Billy teased.
"I HATE YOU!!!!" I screamed before slamming my window shut and crawled back to bed.
