Nyd quickly run to his father Usher at nagmano ito( sa chapter 2 I changed it to Laile). Usher kissed the forehead of Nyd and ruffles Thronus hair.

"Musta business trip sa Italy dad?"
"Ok lang naman as usual busy days buds namiss ko kayo" gigil na yinakap ni Usher si Nyd.

"How bout mommy dad? Is she coming?" Simpleng tanong ni Nyd sa kanya and it made him stiff.

Usher see the hope both of Nyd's and Thronus eyes and it made him guilty dahil hindi ito alam kung ano ang totoong situation ng kanilang ina.

Usher gulped and smiled widely "aish nanay niyo ayaw parin kasi working pa ih sinabi ko sa kanya na uuwi na kami pero ayaw niya kasi nahihiya siya sainyo"

"Bakit naman po? Me and kuya naman understand na nagwowork po siya para may makain"

"Mommy niyo kasi nahihiya dahil nung baby pa kayo iniwan na kayo para work" Usher smiled widely "btw anak may pasalubong ako sainyo let's go"

Thronus just looked at his father's back, di siya naniniwala sa sinasabi ng tatay niya, those excuse are not valid, sinong ina ang mahihiya sa sarili niyang anak?.

Thronus just sigh and followed his father and Nyd sa sofa.

"Dad antique nitong bracelet dad I can't accept it its too beautiful and unique."

"Anak kaya nga binili ko yan kasi ikaw ang naiisip ko" Usher stroke the hair of his daughter and pinch her cheeks.

"How bout si mommy? Naiisip niya rin ba kami?" It was soft but they heard it and Thronus saw how his father stiffen again.

"Of course naman anak, mahal na mahal kayo ng mommy niyo" tumingin si Usher sa kanya and smiled, his father ruffled his hair at inakbayan sila "kaya kayo don't think bad about your mommy malulungkot yun for sure"

There was a long silence when nakita nila si Don Lazaro bumaba "Lolo may peace offering kami ni kuya dahil ginalit ka namin kanina"

Binigay ni Nyd ang watch na binili nila kay Don Laz, hindi mapigilang tumawa ng matanda "aigoo salamat mga apo ko"
Don Laz kiss Nyd's forehead.

Inalalayan ni Nyd si Don sa kusina upang kumain at buksan ang regalo nito.

"Anak oh"

May paper bag na binigay si Usher kay Thronus and when Thronus opened the bag nakita niya isang cellphone, Iphone 12 promax.

"Papa may phone pa naman ako Im contented with my old phone"

"Diba yan ang gusto ng mga kabataan ngayon? Maganda specs niyan anak"

"Nahh not me, Im fine with my Android I can still play, and call you sa phone ko daddy ayaw kong ilahat sainyo yung pangangailangan namin"

"But anak-"

"No buts papa"

Usher sighed "Do you think tatanggapin to ng kapatid mo?"

Thronus just shrugged

"Nyd anak!! Gusto mo sayo nalang tong Iphone 12?!"

"NO THANKS DADDY!"

Nagkatinginan sila sa isat isa and laugh "Thanks God you two grew up well"

Napatingin si Usher sa malaking portrait ni Eriqa "Riqa nakikita mo ba mga anak mo dyan sa langit? They grew up well"

Thronus saw the sadness and longing of his father's eyes while looking at his mother's portrait.
