The day after – 3rd Person POV

Ayanokoji's gears began turning and, in no time, he had a solution.

The midterms were a streak of luck that couldn't be repeated and luckily, his own points were enough to pay – even if it costed Horikita starting to be suspicious of him.

In an instance in which lies and truths are mixed, who has the strongest lie wins - if Class D didn't lie, then Class C did.

But first, he had to confront Sudo calmly and rationally, no small feat considering his classmate's fuse.

Kiyotaka POV

I make my way to my room to find...Sudo, Kushida and Horikita? Oh, and the other two dimwits too.

"Why are you lot in my room?"

"I'm sorry, Ayanokoji-kun!" Kushida explains, looking at me with what no doubt is an expression of contempt fake as everything else about her.

"Ayanokoji man! That's not the time for this! My skin's on the line, man!" Sudo gets closer and grabs my shoulder. Then Horikita intervened, cutting the air as an ice blade.

"This incident is no doubt Sudo-kun's fault."

Before the two dumbfucks could speak in their friend's defence, Horikita continued. "But, it is true that this whole situation is fishy. Calling you in the special annex, 3 versus 1...we've been set up."

Whoever led Class C was a man with no morals and with result-oriented methods. Closest to me more than any person in this room.

"How should we go on, then?"

"Our only way is searching for witnesses. We'll have to ask around campus so your help will be needed, Kushida-san."

With another fake smile and sharp eyes, Kushida hums in agreement. "Leave it to me, Horikita-san! I know just who to contact!"

With this, the two walk out of the room, shortly after followed by the three idiots.

Sighing, I close the door and change into some more fitting clothes, ready for a light workout. I have to keep my body in tip-top shape while I can, so that I can protect myself in any occasion if push comes to shove.

Myself, and Nazuna.

One thing this school did was making me discover electronic music and DJs – Marshmello, Avicii, Calvin Harris. In the White Room the only type of music available was classical music, due to its implications in boosting the intellectual capabilities of us specimens.

But modern music is also nice, and it gets me...pumped up? I don't know, I just feel more motivated to do things like this I thought were obligations back in the day.

Incredible how something like music can give you the stimulus you need and make something worthwhile out of a duty...I trained to survive, now I feel like I have a real purpose to do so.

A/N – When I workout I always binge listen Marshmello, particularly Crusade. Really recommending the good stuff bois.

But I digress. Hey, you.

Yes, you who's reading what I think and do.

What do you think 'superiority' is? I myself have observed many types of superiority. Delusional superiority, self-proclamed superiority – I was glorified as an example of superiority.

In this school I have encountered superiority – Horikita and Fuka are the best cases I could see, though also Kushida can be one – but my position is very simple.
