I have decided (for now) to completely omit Abby's section of the game/book. I am doing this for a myriad of reasons, but I want to explain a little bit further why I've made this decision.
I have a very hard time sympathizing with Abby. I could write an entire post as to why I have come to this conclusion but I'm not really in the mood to fight with people about my opinion of the game. I have a really deep connection with Ellie & I think that shines through brilliantly in my writing. Writing Abby's sections has been so hard for me & it doesn't bring me joy or make me feel good. Overall, I just don't like doing it. I don't connect with Abby at all or really like her as a character. I think what happened to her was fucked up, but I don't feel anything towards her.
If I could find a brilliant writer who is willing to write her section of the game for me, I would consider it. But that's not an option right now.
Anyway, I hope to start posting regular updates to the book again. Perhaps every Monday. Thank you for your understanding & thank you for your patience with me. It's appreciated.
