Chapter 15

I know I know....

Im so sorry foor the long awaited chapter im sorry its not super long like i have said in the past but im going through something with my new job and i am currently on my laptop that is starting to die on me meaning its very slow to type on so im saving money to get me a monitor for school and and to write for you guys as well!!!

Now then.... On with the story!

Its been about 3 months since I first wandered about this territory and found my mate, James. He told me just the other day that we will be having the ceremony of me being the luna of the pack be in a few weeks when everything calms down but he hasn't told me much since. 

 He's been scheduling a bunch of meetings with other alphas from what I've heard is that rouges want to cause a war and James needs back up. My guess is that when some rouges got away they ran back to their base to decide with Dalton about what to do.

I was sitting in the living room with a fuzzy blanket around my small body when the couch dipped and saw James next to me getting comfortable. "Alright my love. What would you like to watch?" He said wrapping his arm around me and holding me close.

A movie? What movies are there? 'Uhhh, James? What is there to watch? You pick.' I mind linked with a confused head tilt towards him.

James looked at me like I was crazy. Back at the rouges terrory, I never watched TV till I came here.

James ended up picking American Sniper and I sat there and watched it from beginning to end. I enjoyed it till beta Hunter came running in. "Alpha James!" He said in a panic that got James on his feet fairly quick.

"Yes Hunter, whats the problem?" He walked over to Hunter to talk to and I couldn't hear a word they were talking about. I sat there curious of what they were speaking about till James turned around and his eyes were no longer their beautiful light brown. His wolf was out and the whole room noticed. "Stay. Here." His voice boomed towards me making me jump and coward into a ball. "Dont let her leave this building..." He said to Hunter and walked out slamming the door.

I wonder what Hunter said cause then he ran out of the house following him quickly slamming the door as well.

I was left all alone in the house. I was alone. I feeling I never wanted to ever feel again. I stood up slowly and made my way up to the bedroom. Walking through the halls to get to the bedroom, every picture I saw had James in each one with either a pack member or alphas from other packs that Jake has formed alliances with he says. He doesn't really count me in much of his pack duties even though he says im a great Luna but I haven't done anyhting for the pack. I've done nothing but cause more trouble here.

Once I made it to the bedroom I just decided to take a small nap in his bed, hoping James would be home soon. I crawled in bed and looked up at the blank white ceiling thinking then suddenly I fell asleep...

"Annalise...Annalise?"

Who in the world is calling for me? I just wanna sleep.

Annalise!" Now that yell made me jump up and act like I was gonna get beat like the rouges did. I got out of the bed faster than I ever have in my life and bolted for the door hearing James calling my name like he was in a panic. "There you are! Where were you?"

"I was sleeping...Everything okay?" I didnt know what was going on at all but I knew it wasnt gonna be good.

"Hide...They are here again...." 

Just those words sent me into immedeate terror. Why back so soon? Why can't I just live in peace in my pack and home. 

James scooped me up bridal style making me grin lightly as he took me to the bedroom and placed me in a closet with a hatch that I've never seen before. "Go through the hatch and follow the tunnel. It will lead you to the safe house beneath the pack house trust me my love. I'll be back for you." And with that he kissed me forehead and closed the door before i could tell him anything. 

Wait... Oh right i forgot.

"I intend to see you alive please..."  Now I started my journey to the safe house.
