You never cease to amaze me.
Is the only thing Shoma can think of when Yuzuru looks at him.
Sometimes, Shoma felt that Yuzuru was like his parents. Tall as mountains, strong, reliable and almost superhuman. The sense of safety went to such an extent to where thinking of Yuzuru being hurt was almost impossible.
Through varying points in their journey together in this school, Shoma had been surprised by Yuzuru. The times when he cried real tears of grief in front of him, the day which he had thought he had lost their friendship was one of such. Afterwards, Shoma always made it a point to treasure his relationship with Yuzuru and never to take it for granted. Then again, there was the time where Yuzuru had revealed a layer behind his parental mask. The day when he admitted to Shoma that he was old, and tiredness shrouded him like a cloak. From that point on, Shoma became more aware of Yuzuru's own health and well-being, sometimes catching him out like a light or signs of his growing fatigue. He didn't want Yuzuru to be on his own, fighting his battles without someone to lean on.
When he finally imagined he understood Yuzuru, and their friendship was not weighed with troubles shared and born equally on both persons; he was proven wrong yet again.
.
Yuzuru's gaze is unbearably painful and so longing.
Like Shoma had stung him yet he wanted to keep getting stung no matter how painful it was.

Shibsibs: Did you see the post on Gossip Global?"
Pictureperfect: Yeah
Pictureperfect: I'm serious impressed that someone could come up with that theory.
Pictureperfect: Like, the other posts were such cliche plots but this one really stood out to me as original.
Yuna: Who wrote it again?
Pictureperfect: It's the same guy for every post, Patrick Chan.
Shibsibs: The theory is pretty cool tho
Shibsibs: I can imagine what a great plot it'd make. But why does it mention people from our class?
Shibsibs: And I recall seeing your name mentioned in there Yuna.
Shibsibs: Do you have a secret lover we don't know about?
Shibsibs: Busted
Shibsibs: Or maybe it is her stalker?
Pictureperfect: Maybe not, Alex.
Shibsibs: Aww, how did you know?
Shibsibs: I thought you would think it was Maia
Pictureperfect: It's sort of obvious.
Pictureperfect: We all know how much you love Gossip Global.
Shibsibs: what is this, Gossip Global? I dunno what youre talking about Gabrielle.
Pictureperfect: HAh. Nice try, Alex.
Shibsibs: Yuna!!! Are you online?
Pictureperfect: Yeah, where are u?
Yuna: hi
Yuna: I'm still here.
Shibsibs:Whew, youre not abducted by aliens.
Shibsibs: Like Cheng. Maia here, btw.
Yuna: What's wrong with Cheng?
Pictureperfect: Have you not noticed? She hasn't been coming online anymroe.
Shibsibs: She is too busy moping around about some Yang guy.
Shibsibs: Her lost love in China?
Pictureperfect: Alex, I kno youre still there.
Yuna puts down her phone, looking down at the blank sheet of paper she had been doodling on as she spoke. Honestly, the newest post on Gossip Global had hit her like a punch in the guts. There was something in there spoken with such sincerity and urgency that it struck her to be inclined to believe the post. However, after the recent conversation she had with her friends, she had felt this strange tugging feeling, like she was forgetting something. She was aware that there was an unexplained emptiness in her heart, a missing element.
When they had brought up the name Patrick Chan, she felt a odd sense of familiarity, that sent a memory resurfacing in her brain.
A blurred face, an annoying Canadian accent. An overly emotional and avid kdrama companion.
Yuna found herself thinking of these qualities (were they even considered qualities?) when she thought of this familiar stranger.
Other memories of him hanging out in their group of friends also bothered her.
Why did they not remember him?
This then connects to Cheng which they mentioned afterwards and her sudden silence.
It's time I pay a visit to her dorm.
