03. Dawn: A Beginning New

177 12 33

A Dawn draped in Drops of Dew:
A Morn, a Start, a Sunshine New,
Diamonds tapestried on an Emerald Leaf:
Placid its Pearls and Scent so Fresh:
Caressing the Mind, the Heart wounded,
Like the Corals hugging the Heathery Reef;
No Death may part the Paramours Puerile:
No Peril may sully the Hoping Beings,
Like Crystals of Dew Gleaming in the Green;
Such Peace though Seen, ever Perceived?

The Dazzling Glow
Lines the Silty Shore,
Of the Flambeau Aflame, the Purest whose Core:
The Sunkissed Waters of the Ocean Floor-
They carry the Whispers of Earth's Long Lore:
"Rise Anew for a New Morn Awaits,
Rise Anew and Refashion Your Fate!"
Oh, how They Rustle and Swish and Thrust!-
Against the Soil of Sand and Must;
Yet fashion the Greatest Symphony,
A Divine Heaven of Harmony!
Such Peace though Seen, ever Perceived?

Emanating Strands of Living Renewed
Of Gaiety, do They fill the Ether so blue;
Fabricate They Life's Lofty tale,
Oh, how, oh, how its Fabric They sew!
Like Doves Descending from the Distant Sky:
And Ascending again to Claim Their Flight-
Adorned in White, the Guardians of Peace:
Devotees of Piety and Diplomacy.

Gusts of Glee, and Hopes Freshened;
Why don't We Drift, Indulge, and Bless,
Pirouette with Laughter, with the Merriment of Life?-
Yet within the Silliest Races We invest,
Being washed away by such Spurious Strifes;
Why don't We Drift, We Fools of Flesh,
Drift into a World as Ethereal as It?-
Quandaries Nought, and a Sphere so Lit:
Illuminated by Souls Who Live, Who Breathe,
A Dawn Enlightened by the Abolished Prejudice!
Oh, why can't We but Drift into It?

A Dawn draped in Drops of Dew:
A Light, a Hope, a Beginning New;
Caress My Heart, oh, Dawn Dearest!-
Defrost away the Nights Chilliest;
Oh, let Me clutch onto Your Hopes Abundant:
Let me but Pirouette Today in Merriment,
Clutching onto the Dreams I, too, had Abandoned!

The Sunbeams of Life Ye afresh do Drizzle
As I bathe in Your Opulence Unmuzzled;
Oh, wash over the Wistful, Withered Chronicle!
Ye rejuvenate Me, My Hopes, and Parables.
