SOOKIE AND LORELAI HAD MADE UP, Jess had fixed Luke's toaster (although he would deny it for as long as he lived), Evie had agreed to behave herself and after ten minutes of convincing, Rory, Sookie and Evie managed to get Lorelai to open her late wedding gift to Max - it was an ice cream maker that didn't seem to be from any of her relatives - and everything seemed at least somewhat well in Stars Hollow.
