Again it's a fanfiction of our dear Shen Wei and Zhao Yunlan from the legendary show GU...
"Mom? Take this.. I did all the work" Stepmom happily comes back to her mother's room who lives here, after Wei's dad's death
"Shen Wei signs the papers!" She proudly added and both the ladies smirk
"Now get him married as soon as possible" Big mom said while checking the papers "What are you saying? Who will get agree to marry him?.. He is still immature to take any strong decision" Stepmom gets frustrated
"First listen to me!... What about your husband's best friend.. what was his name, who often came to visit us!.. that one..... what was his name, the same handsome man...that...." Big mom was trying to recall someone's name
"Who? Zhao Yunlan?"
"Yes, I heard he is alone and have no one in this world" Big mom said her words and thinking
"But Shen Wei is too young and Zhao Yunlan is of his father's age.... How can we do this!... They have no match" Stepmom was leaning at the bed now
"If you get him married to someone young and of his age then maybe he put his bad eyes over the property and wants some share!" Her mom said and she hummed in response
"And Zhao Yunlan will take care of him too.. Just give all his responsibilities to that man.. and get rid of him" Big mom smirks at her planning
"And if in any case that man denies marrying Shen Wei then get him married to anyone, any old man! But throw him out of the house in no time" Big mom said and the other lady looks at her face
The next day, Shen Wei gets ready for college and comes out after having a little breakfast.. After his father's death, Shen Wei didn't like anything, he never sleeps comfortably, or eat and on top of that he loses interest in everything
And his mom also never shows any interest to feed the kid with little force, she just lives with him like he is some stranger in his own house..
Shen Wei was about to sit in the car as they heard another car's horn and the driver went to check who was there..
"I will drop Shen Wei to his college!" It's Yunlan who smiles at the driver after coming out leaving his seat
"Uncle?" Wei mumbled with slight happiness and the driver also get agreed looking at a little smile at Shen Wei's face
Shen Wei silently walks closer and greets his handsome uncle, Yunlan gently hugs his shoulders and kissed the crown of his head
"How is my baby?" He asks and Wei just signs with the movement of his head that he is alright!.. "Let's go then!"
Wei again nods silently and Yunlan opens the door for him.. He makes Shen Wei sit in the car comfortably and takes the driving seat.. "So, how are your studies going?" Yunlan finally asks and Wei looked at his side
"Studies are going good, uncle!.."
Yunlan nods at his short answer as Shen Wei thinks something "Uncle?.. I.. want to... that..... uncle I want to... say...." Shen Wei was trying to convey his words while looking down but hesitation blocked everything and he wants to cry..
"What happened, Shen Wei?... Tell me, I am listening!... Is there anything bothering you?" Yunlan stops the car at the side and worriedly turns towards him
"Can I tell Yunlan uncle about the papers?.. But why involve him in my problems?" Shen Wei was thinking and Yunlan feels something wrong in his uneasy actions
"Shen Wei?" Yunlan calls him and pats his shoulder lightly to gain his attention
Wei looked at him "Nothing uncle, I was just wanting to say that mom is acting weird nowadays.. don't know what she wants!.... I am just started to get scared by her" Wei told and Yunlan frown, he starts thinking something
"Sorry uncle, I didn't want to make you worry, it's just my overthinking.. I am sorry" Shen Wei quickly started to feel bad after seeing Yunlan silent and thinking
"It's good that you told me, you are very precious, Shen Wei!.. And listen, if you feel anything wrong and they tried to do anything wrong with you then you have to call me immediately, understand?"
Yunlan gets worried for him and Wei nods looking into his eyes "Everything else alight?"
"Yes, all is good! Mom treats me good too but.... I just feel something in her......" Wei again gets silent while speaking and Yunlan holds his hand and caresses its back with his thumb
"It's okay, I am just a call away from you, okay?"
Wei nods while smiling at his uncle who tried his best to take care of him.. He drops Shen Wei at his college and went to his office..

At night, Wei's stepmom calls him in her room "Yes mom? You want to meet me!" As usual, politeness is at its peak and she smiles "Yes, come sit!... I want to discuss something very important with you"
Shen Wei sits in front of her looking into her eyes waiting for what she wants to say
"Look, you are educated, mature, and knows things well.. You know that your dad passes away after few months of our marriage!" She stops to get the other's response
"Yes" Wei answers with pain and looks down but she doesn't care about it
"I am still young and I don't want to spend my entire life as a widow alone or taking care of a kid like you.. I am straight forward person and I don't know any conspiracies and backbiting that's why I am telling you straightly.. I want to marry again"
Shen Wei looked at her face being surprised and she continued her talk "And with whom I want to marry, he won't accept you... and I also don't want that after marriage I keep an eye on you and my husband.."
She said something and Wei didn't like it at all as he gets what she said.. "Mom I...."
"Shen Wei, you are extremely beautiful (Wei was looking at her) Don't look at me like this.. I am saying the truth, You are an extremely beautiful boy and unfortunately my stepson.. And if I keep you with me then I can guarantee my husband will not see me but you.."
Shen Wei's eyes are reduced to tears and he wipes them.. She shook her head and sigh..
