so, i've been gone for a very long time and i apologize for that. i know a lot of you have been anticipating the next part and wondering when it'll be out. i've had a lot going on in my life since the last time i've updated, so that killed a lot of my motivation, on top of having writer's block.
but, i started reading back through this book and slowly becoming more active on here again. over the past few weeks, i've been editing and revising previous chapters, and i ended up rewriting a lot of them! so the storyline is slightly different than it was when i first started on this. i'll be posting the new chapter after this note, but with that in mind, i strongly encourage you to go back and reread this story from the beginning before you go on to the next chapter. i've changed a decent bit of the story, so if you continue on without rereading it, this next chapter probably won't make much sense. it's also significantly longer than previous chapters. it's over 2000 words!
