15 || Gone.

Everyone says goodbye at some point in their life. It's just the way the world works and it's fucked up but there is nothing we can do to fix it.
It's been over three months since Killgrave was killed. It's been over three months since I returned home. And it's been over three months since he left. Elizabeth wrote delcontly in her journal letting all her feelings out, ready to go to bed before a knock was at her door.

"Come in."

The door creaked open to Steve's 'sorry' face.

"Steve." Her tears were an unstoppable waterfall as her body collapsed in Steve's arms. He felt so hopeless. Elizabeth had been in her own world for the past 104 days without Bucky Barnes. Everyone admits she's gotten better but... a piece of her is missing.

"Tell me something, Liz." Steve sat on the floor with her, leaning his back onto her bed as he wiped her tears away. "Did you love him this whole time?"

She couldn't help but crack a soft chuckle. "No. Natasha told me to just try and be friend with him and I did but it ended up being more than that and I-"

"-Hey." Steve cut her off and took her hand. "Wherever he is and whatever he's doing, I know he would want you to move on."

"I don't know if I can, Steve. He hasn't called or anything and I'm worried."

"He's a tough guy. And you're going to have to move on eventually." Steve stood up and dusted his pants a bit. "And if you want I can talk to Tony about you joining the team for good..."

Her gold eyes met a flash drive that rested on her nightstand. Her flash-drive. "Um, sure. I feel much better now." She quickly got up and took Steve's hand, guiding him to the door. "Thank you, Steve. Goodnight!" Slam.

Elizabeth walked over to her flash drive and stuck it into the USB slot in her laptop. Her screen lit up with the year 2012 and the video started.

"This is Dr. Beep and I'm here at Beep on May 5, 2012 with Elizabeth Stark. This is our last and final surgery procedure on this patient and then we will test out her abilities." The unrequoizable doctor lifted his face mask. "Should we begin?"

"This is Dr. Beep here again a few days later and now it's time for some training to analyze Ms. Stark's ability."

A faint "What the fuck?" escaped Liz's lips while staring into the laptop screen.

She saw herself all dressed in black sportswear, no one familiar to be found near. Elizabeth's arm was extended and her palm faced a dummy. Boom. White colored vibrations were sent through the room, launching the dummy to the wall. Then, a familiar face. The Winter Soldier. He walked into the room and started fighting with Elizabeth.

Elizabeth quickly shut her laptop, only 1 minute into the 15 minute video. Her hands- no, her entire body was shaking when she went to reach for her phone. The number quickly dialed. 4 rings before the other line connected. "Bucky."

"Elizabeth? What the hell-"

"No, no, no you need to listen. I watched my video. On the flashdrive." She took a deep breath and shoved the flash drive into her pocket. "I was an experiment for HYDRA I- I don't know how but I have this video of us training."

She could hear his sight on the other end. "I don't remember any of that, Elizabeth..."

"Bu-" Someone collided with the back of Liz and they covered her mouth, causing her to drop her phone. One stomp from the person and the phone was destroyed.

"Elizabeth? Eli-" beep beep beep.

The black bag was taken off Elixabeth's head. It was all white from the lack of light the past hour or so. Her eyes finally adjusted. Elizabeth found herself tied down to a chair in the middle of the training room from her video on her flash-drive. Her hands quickly ran to her pickets feeling around. Nothing.

"Don't bother trying, sis." Tony had stepped in front of Liz and took her by the chin, showing her the flash-drive in his other hand. "You're fucked." The words were imbedded in Liz's head, impossible to ever remove.

But, he was right. She was fucked. But so was he.
