Tom's POV

"I'm sorry, what did you say," I asked nervously

"Your girlfriend is pregnant," the doctor said but then continued "would you like to see her?" I nodded

"Mate, I have to go check on Z but when Y/N wakes up, please tell her I'm sorry I couldn't be there to see her" Haz reasoned

"Yeah, of course, mate, she'll understand," I said with a small smile, Haz returned it and walked out of the hospital

I followed the doctor into Y/N's room to see her laying down on the bed changed into a hospital gown, with a blanket over her lower body, she was sleeping peacefully, her mouth slightly open, she looked so beautiful, like she always does

I looked at her stomach, she wasn't showing but I smiled knowing that she was carrying our baby, we never planned for this, we've talked about having kids together in the future, but having one now just didn't seem like the right time

I sat in the chair directly next to her bed and held her hand tightly, she stirred a bit before trying to open her eyes but adjusting to the light in the room

"I'll give you two some privacy," the doctor said and walked out of the room

She turned her head towards me and our eyes met

"Hey, Darling" I whispered as I slowly brought my hand up to caress her cheek

"Tom? Where are we?" She said her voice a little hoarse

"We're at the hospital, you had an accident"

She paused for a second "Oh yeah, I remember now"

"So, how are you?"

"I feel fine but a bit nauseous but good especially now that you're here" she smiled and pulled me with the strength she had by the hand so our faces were only centimetres apart "can you kiss me?"

I smiled at her and leaned in and gently pressed my lips against hers and it felt so good we pulled away and she hugged me tightly, I heard her sniffing

"You okay, love?" I asked

"I was so scared"

"What?"

"When the car hit me, I was so scared that this was going to be it, that this was going to be the time that I die and I might lose you, Tom, it scared the shit out of me and-" she cried into my arms and I held her close to me here, as I silently cried with her

We stayed like that for a few moments but we pulled away and wiped each other's tears, I sat beside her on her bed with my arm around her shoulder

"Darling, it's okay, you are here now, and you are safe okay I won't let anything bad happen to you, and you'll never lose me," I told her, I paused for a minute and I knew I had to tell her, no more secrets "Y/N, there is something I have to tell you"

She nodded for me to go on

"T-the doctor found something during the surgery and they did an ultrasound and they, uh found something in y-your stomach, okay you know what I'm just gonna say it, darling, you're pregnant," I said nervously about how she would react

Y/N's POV

"...darling, you're pregnant," He said nervously

Subconsciously, I brought my hands up to my stomach and caressed it gently, I. Am. Pregnant, I didn't know what to say, I've always wanted kids in the future but I never planned on having one now, and it scared me

"U-uh, w-when did you find out?"

"The doctor told Haz and I when you were still under anaesthetic," Tom said fiddling with his thumbs
