five ! seriously?

A week after their welcoming 'party' for chaeyoung, in those seven days they trained together non stop.
From 1 30 p.m until 7 00 p.m daily, and some especially chaeyoung and taehyung would take an extra hour practice to make sure they're on their best game this weekend, their first competition season with chaeyoung

"okay, class dismissed" as the physic teacher dismissed class 13-A, the class where the four shits they call themselves are, chaeyoung, taehyung, jimin and jungkook went ahead and got together in front of the classroom while the other students were walking to the cafeteria

"okay let's go people" jimin started talking as the other three was doing their own thing

"go where again? The cafeteria?" chaeyoung asked while typing something on her phone with her left hand and playing with tae's fingers on the other
At this point, taehyung doesn't even care anymore, if he told her to fuck off, she won't, so, why bother

"no, to the field dumbass" jungkook said with a sarcastic tone

"oh dumbass? at least i didn't use a pick up line from the 70s to pick some girl up, DIPSHIT" she replied back

"both of you, shut it" taehyung interrupted as he plucked in his airpods to his ears

They walked together to school field, of course with chaeyoung and jungkook non stop teasing each other

"oh there they are! " the four was greeted by the sunshine of the group, j-hope

now, it was eight of them, adding namjoon, jin, j-hope and yoongi in

They all sat together on the small space at the stadium stairs

"okay so as you all know, competition season is coming quick, it's right around this weekend. And mind to repeat this for the millionth time, this competition will use a different format than our usual comps, this time they'll use our overall speed time to influence 40% of our final results, so, even if we come up on the first place for multiple events, if our speed score added up is lesser than other groups, we'll still lose in the end..

we'll be participating in three categories, man 100 meter solo, jungkook and taehyung, woman 200 meter solo, chaeyoung obvi and finally the highlight of the whole competition, relay race, 4 x 200"

Hearing namjoon explanation with a stern intonation made them realize how serious their leader was for this season competition

"and how will we sort the first to the last runner for the relay? " jimin brought up a question forward as the others was waiting for a response

"i haven't made the final decision yet but, i think we'll go with jungkook as first runner, taehyung as last runner, jimin and chaeng, i think chaeyoung is better of the third, so after her would be tae-

"no. " taehyung raised

"do you have any reasons to disagree with chaeng being third? If you do-" before namjoon finished his question on why tae was against chaeyoung being the runner before him, chaeyoung interrupted

"no, I'll just be the second, after all, the third fastest is always the second runner, and I'll get to see jungkook sweaty out of breath face too! " she cheered

But the other just watched in silence, it would rather be pity to see a guy not wanting to be closely related to the girl who have been clinging on him everyday all day

"so you're implying im the slowest!!? " jimin acted angrily after chaeyoung statement to bring up the mood

"uwuuu did our jimin get hurt, u silly baka~~" chaeyoung sarcastically replied, mocking jimin who was sulky

"i guess that ends our meeting for this afternoon, today's practice is cancelled since most of us have something to do, okay dismissed " after namjoons word, they all went their own way

But this time, it was different, chaeyoung didn't wait to walk with tae, rather, she got up first and said

"well, i gotta go get ready now, see y'all tomorrow " she smiled, picking up her bottle on the ground

"get ready for what? A date? " Jimin teased, thinking she was joking around

"yes, you're exactly right jimin! " after that, she ran away and went to god knows where

After hearing her confirming she's going on a date, they all turned to taehyung who doesn't seem a bit disturbed by the fact that their favorite girl in j hope eyes, favorite sister figure in jungkooks eyes, favorite baby sister in namjoons and jins eyes, favorite person in jimin eyes and favourite smile in yoongis eyes was going on a date, the girl who have been all over taehyung since the first day is going ON A DATE

"what are you all looking at me for" tae eyebrows furrowed

"WHAT FOR?! SHE'S BEEN CLINGING ON YOU AND YOU'RE NOT A BIT DISTURBED BY THE FACT THAT SHE'S GOING ON A DATE?!? " yoongi screamed in fury, it was rare to see him worked up, guess chaeyoung is a very important person to him, or maybe all of them

"no? if you have a problem with it, go tell her not to your own, tf that gotta do with me" and just like that, he left, to also god knows where

They were all left speechless, chaeyoung was such a loveable person although they knew her for not even a month they all felt the urge to protect her and keep her safe

"i guess we'll let it be, let's go guys"

so that's it? their favourite sister is just going to go on a date and their stupid dumb with no self realization friend is letting her be? or so they thought...

God i hope she doesn't actually go, why would she, she has plenty of handsome guys to pick from, she even has me to chase after and she's choosing to go for a random guy? if i could, i would've locked her in a cage and make sure- wait. why am i acting like this again, tf?
