It was a casual day in school, when Jisung walked down the hallway- alone. Saeron was absent due to something she needed to do with Taehee, so the boy was forced to sit with the one and only, Lee Donghyuck.

Oh how much he hated his guts.

Anyway- back to where he was, Jisung dug his palms into his hoodie, strolling down the crowded area but he couldn't be bothered. Ears plugged with his pods as he listened to music, Jisung continued to make his way towards the exit after a long day.

Until an arm landed on his back, causing him to jolt and turn to see Chaeyong and Taeri, and they seemed to be out of breath.

"Goddamn you walk fast," Taeri bent down as she tried to catch her breath.
Jisung eyed the two confusingly, "Why are you running?"

Taeri couldn't seem to utter a word from exhaustion so Chaeyong was the one to speak. "We've got something to talk about, " the red-haired demanded, and Jisung's brows furrowed.

"Now?" he stuttered, suddenly feeling nervous from their serious tone and demanding gazes.
Taeri had finally composed herself when she straightened her torso, standing tall with her best friend next to her as the two confidently nodded in sync.

"Yes."
"Right now, Park"
"But I've got shit to do-"
"I said now Jisung."

"It's almost what?!"
"I swear I almost died out of shock-"

"Why didn't I know about this?" Jisung interjected in disbelief, not caring whether other people was giving him weird looks for screaming in a public space.

"You never asked," Taeri mindlessly said, leaning back onto her chair as she casually sipped on her drink and Chaeyong smacked her arm for her reckless comment.
Well- she isn't wrong, leaving the dumbfounded boy silent.

"Her birthday's three days from now, any plans?" Chaeyong's request caught the boy internally panicking, yet didn't let it show, placing his cool side up front.

"Um, what do you guys have in mind?" Jisung scratched the back of his head, absolutely clueless of any ideas.
"We've constantly given her cakes each year and it's quite- I don't know- repetitive? I'm letting you choose this time mister" one of the girls said, chuckling as she rolled her eyes lightly.

"Um," Jisung contemplated, "that's what I was thinking-"
"Aish, you boring ass bitch. I thought you'd come up with a better idea," Taeri retorted and brought her face closer to his to whisper, "Since you're her boyfriend."

The two girls teasingly lifted their brows, successfully taking the boy by surprise when he began to rapidly shake his head while motioning his hands as a 'no'.
"You girls are sick."
