My POV: I woke up early I couldn't sleep so I decided to get up my two Dobermans Minzi which means protecter and Mwaminifu which means Loyd got up with me they're aware that I'm a lion but I can change into a human form I can switch back and forth

When I got up I was in my human form I decided to get dressed then I remembered that I had to patrol the northern boarder of the pride lands oh how I hate bordering patrol but I guess it has to be done but I couldn't decide weather or not I should do it in my lion form or not as I was thinking about it I felt soft fur rubbing against my leg I looked down and saw a tiger striped cat which was my cat Amar rubbing up against my leg I chuckled and shook my head then gently picked him up holding him gently in my arms petting him
I guess you couldn't sleep either huh I said
He looked at me and rubbed his head against me I could hear him purring I kissed the side of his head then set him down gently and finished getting ready once I was fully dressed I went downstairs of my place I don't live at the palace like the rest of our family and I'm the exact opposite of my older brother Mufasa who is the king of the pride lands I shook my head sighing softly just thinking about that fact my older brother as king drives me crazy and today the presentation of my newborn nephew Simba as well when I got to the living room and kitchen area I saw Minzi and Mwaminifu laying down they looked up at me curiously I chuckled softly and shook my head then I got breakfast and fed Amar and my two Dobermans Minzi and Mwaminifu once breakfast was finished I decided to patrol the northern border in my lion form I put my plate in the sink and got it washed then I called Minzi and Mwaminifu they already know that I can change into a lion and they're alright with it I was just out the door when the phone rang
