My POV: it had been several weeks since I found the young human boy I learned from Rafiki that the young boy was named after a famous outlaw who was his great grandfather named Billy The Kid and that he was looking for I was willing to help him find his great grandfather everyone called him Billy so I called him that I was sit down on a long chair outside my home across from Pride Rock I was in my human Minzi and Mwaminifu were laying down beside my spot I was sitting there thinking when I felt something jumped up onto my lap I looked down and saw Amar I smiled softly and gently petted him he always liked to be petted while I was petting Amar I felt something tug on my pant leg I looked down and saw my little baby nephew Simba in his human form he looked up at me curiously he just started to crawl I leaned towards him wondering why he was here and why Sarabi or Sarafina or anything of the others weren't with him
Huh this is odd I wonder why they're not with Simba he's too young to be out here alone I thought to myself as I gently picked Simba up and set him down on my lap holding him gently
Hey Scar I heard Billy say walking over towards us
Hello Billy I replied
Who's this little guy? Billy asked
This is my nephew Simba he crawled over to me I replied
Oh well where's his mom or any of the others? Billy asked
I don't know I didn't see any of them which is odd because they're usually with Simba because he's still too young yet to be by himself I replied
I sat holding Simba on my lap his head was resting on my chest and shoulder sucking on his thumb I gently held him I always love spending time with my nephew as I held him Sarafina came over to us
Oh there he is I was so worried Sarafina said
I see well I guess he just wanted to come over and see his uncle I replied with a smirk
Sarafina chuckled and shook her head trying not to laugh I handed Simba to her but when I did he got upset and began reaching for me crying I sighed softly
I guess my favorite nephew wants to continue being with me I said chuckling
He's your only nephew Scar I heard Billy say
More the reason for me to be protective of him Billy I replied
Billy and Sarafina laughed as they did Sarabi and Mufasa and Zuzu came over and I can tell Sarabi was worried about Simba's safety
Oh there he is oh thank goodness he's alright Sarabi said taking ahold of Simba who was crying uncontrollably and reaching for me
It's seems like the future king is attached to his uncle Mufasa said with a smile on his face
Yes though I don't suppose why Sire Zuzu added
Oh come now Zuzu I'm only looking out for the well being of my favorite nephew I replied
He's your only nephew Scar Zuzu replied folding his arms
I rolled my eyes at Zuzu as we talked for a little while then Sarabi Mufasa Sarafina and Simba and Zuzu went back to Pride Rock although Simba went crying because he wanted to stay with me I told Billy I was going to go for a walk to clear my head I walked for awhile I saw Mufasa a couple of times talking with the others in the kingdom as I walked I heard a faint sound so I followed it and came across a horrific site I saw a lioness and a young orange colored lion cub with her but the lioness was dead I slowly walked over towards the lion cub and changed into my lion form I examined the cub hoping the cub wasn't injured or anything thankfully it wasn't I gently picked the lion cub up by the nape of his neck in my mouth and carried it back to my place Billy was there when I got back I had him stay at my place for the time being
What do you got there Scar? Billy asked
I gently set the lion cub down on the ground and changed back into my human form and sat down the lion cub was terrified the poor cub was shaking uncontrollably and whimpered softly Billy got up and went towards the cub but the cub backed away in fear
I got up slowly careful not to frighten the young cub I walked into the kitchen and got a bottle of milk I poured the milk into a smaller bottle and slowly walked towards the cub I knelt down and gently picked the cub up holding it gently in my arms and put the nipple of the bottle of milk to the cub's mouth
What you doing Scar? Billy asked giving me a confused look
I'm bottle feeding this little lion cub the little guy's probably hungry I replied
Oh Billy said
I sat down still bottle feeding the lion cub after awhile I pulled the bottle nipple away from the young cub's mouth and gently patted its back then I checked to see if the cub was a male or female it was a male I cradled the cub in my arms as I did the cub yawned and curled up in my arms falling asleep
Well he's asleep now Billy said
Yes he is and I'm grateful that he's not injured as well I replied
But what happened to his mother? Billy asked
She's dead unfortunately I found her dead the young cub was barely alive I guess he's needs me I'm thinking about adopting him I replied
I think you should Scar you would be a good father figure to him Billy said
I guess so and I have a good name for him as I said
What's his name? Billy asked
Haze I answered
That's a good name Billy said
I nodded in agreement after dinner I found a place for Haze to sleep and went to bed as I did I said goodnight to Billy and went to sleep and that was that I was glad I adopted Haze and I wouldn't have it any other way
