Chapter 1: The beginning

I guess we should start from the beginning?

My name is Eliane, I'm 16 years old and...I'm the Devil's daughter

ever since I was 12 I loved to cause mischief, it made the time go faster, here in the underworld there is almost nothing to do, it's either you watch horrible people suffer or you are the one suffering, for me, it's both

one day, I decided to have a little fun, usually around 6:13 pm, my father's main helpers go on their break and let the fewer experience helpers do their job, now this is a huge advantage for me, they don't know what I do and they don't know my usual plan. I look at my watch and see the clock turn to exactly 6:33 pm, I see the other helpers walk into their positions.

I waited a few minutes before I make a move so they don't expect anything coming, my first target is Amon, I wait for him to turn his back and walks toward him quietly, I place a red light on his left upper shoulder that will light up if anyone is going close to the gate, we'll for this case, if Amon goes up close to the gate, in 3 minutes he's about to do his daily gate check-up

after a while a notice Amon walking towards the stairs that goes up to the gate, I quietly and slowly follow him waiting for him to get closer and suddenly on his last 2 steps from getting to the top of the staircase, you hear the siren going off, all of my father's helpers rush to the stairs and bring Amon down the staircase.

I watch them search Amon and sit there giggling trying not to make a sound until suddenly I hear my father scream my name

"ELIANE" I hear my father scream from home to the gates.

I meet my father at my home gates and he opens the door with an angry look on his face, we both walk into the main living room and sit on couches that both face each other.

"Eliane, we need to talk," he tells me with a concerned face, "Sure, what do you wanna talk about father?" I say confused,

"your actions are getting too far out of hand, one little joke once in a while is fine but it's becoming a daily thing," he says with a serious tone

"if you want, I could do them 4 times a week?" I say with raised eyebrows but still a little confused on where this conversation is going

"no Eliane, your little jokes can lead to serious consequences and I've recently come to a decision that I have debating on for a while that you might now like"

"get to the point father, if it's a decision that I will certainly not like then stop making me wait," I say with an annoyed tone
"Eliane, I will be sending you to school on earth," he says with a serious face

I looked at him with a surprised face "you're kidding, right? do you not know what you're saying right now?!"

"Eliane calm down, let me explain," he says

"Go on then explain, because I'm pretty sure that there's no need for explaining right, you made it very clear that your gonna send me to a place that is worse the fucking hell and SENDING ME TO SCHOOL THERE," I say with anger

"ELIANE LISTEN JUST FOR ONE SECOND" he yells

"Fine, make it quick"

"I will be sending you there for a year and a year only, I will make your stay with one of my helpers, you will be staying in a house I have on earth that is not far away from a really good school"

"Would I be ever allowed to come back here once in a while at least?"

"Yes, you can come back on breaks you have during the year"

"When will I be leaving?" I say in an annoyed tone

"In 4 days, that will give you enough time to pack your things"

"Fine, but only for a year and nothing more," I say while getting up from the couch and walking up to my room

I decide to immediately pack my things so I can get the biggest part down, I get my suitcase from my closet and start packing my favourite outfits when suddenly I hear a voice

"Packing already?"

I turn around and notice my best friend Samael sitting on my vanity chair

"Well I'm leaving in 4 days, I guess I have to get the longest part of it done, did you know about this?" I say

"Well not really, everyone knew it was gonna happen sometime but not this early," he says with a smirk

"Wow, good to know," I say rolling my eyes

"Hey, you will be back soon and maybe I could come to visit you if I can," he says while getting up from the chair

"Probably, anyways I have to continue packing, hang out later?" I say with a smile

"Well then, I'll be on my way, have fun packing," he says while leaving my room and waving his hand goodbye

I wave back as he is leaving

I guess this is happening, in 4 days I'll be on earth going to an actual school instead of being homeschooled, I wonder how people on earth act, what do they do in their free time? What do they learn? I could probably answer those questions when I get there, apparently, father already has a house on earth and I could stay there, I think I might get some sleep since I still have enough packing to do

A few days past and it's now the day that I have to leave. I bring my luggage to the portal that leads to earth and wait for my father to bring the helper who will be staying with me

My father walks in the room and says "Doyle will be staying with you, he will act as your guardian while you are there"

"Now, shall we get going?" Doyle says

I nod in agreement and walks towards the portal until I get stopped by my father

"Please be careful Eliane"

"I will father," I say smiling

I hugged him and he hugs me back, we both let go and walks towards the portal and don't look back
