What Happened?

Steve's pov.

Percy passed out in my arms he slumped back and I held him he muttered something when I heard what it was I frowned

"Angry pirate man..." I looked up and saw fury standing behind Thor he looked angry the black eye didn't help

"Sir!?" I yelled I pulled percy up with me Thor grabbed him and picked him up bridal style and gently followed Bruce back to the lab he was looking at Percy's blood stain weirdly

"What the hell is that!" he yelled when they left Natasha and Clint stood behind me

Clint coughed into his hand "you mean who?" he said innocently fury glared at him

"I want to know why that boy just took down my finest agents and some how was able to move fast enough to land a blow on me and some of you" he said and eyes Natasha's bruise

We were silent "who.is.he" he growled
I sighed "Tony's bodyguard and assistant" I said he glared at me
"Anything else?" he said I shook my head

"Well I want him in SHIEDS custody" he said smoothly my eyes widened

"What? sir no with all do respect he was scared and it was just an adrenalin rush!"I lied he raised his eyes brow at me he thought I trustful I just didn't want him to turn the poor kid to some lab rat

"Is that true agent romenoff?" he said
'Oh no come on Tasha lie do t let the kid down' I thought

She glanced at me and nodded "tony and Bruce gave him the wrong medicine" she said calmly I sighed in relief mentally

He nodded to her and looked at me "I'm keeping an eye on the boy" he said an pointed to his eye "don't think this is over Rogers that kid has skill and I don't like it" he said and walked away

I sighed when he left Natasha punched me in the arm and glared at me Clint hit me in the other arm

"What was that re you going soft on us? because of the kid" Clint said
"No I just don't want percy to become a lab rat of SHIELD, and if he is.... something else or has some power we don't know about I think we need to get him to trust us" I said the last part quietly

They nodded and we walked to the lab

When we got there percy was in fresh bandages and asleep Thor stood next to him Bruce was reading a chart and tony was writing down on a iPad

"Hey how is the kid?" I asked when we came in tony was silent and Bruce looked at him worriedly

"He's good he just moved to much and he broke a rib" he glared at Thor who shrugged apologetically

Tony was still silent witch was weird for him "hey tony you ok" Clint asked he walked over and nudged him
Tony pushed him away and glared at him "holy...." Clint sad but trailed of

Tony had a large bruise around his neck it looked painful

Tony shrugged and looked at percy carefully and rubbed his neck and winced

"Kid is strong and......scared" he said hoarsely I looked at him ,confused
"He's scared?" I asked he nodded so did Bruce tony set down his iPad
"You should have seen him before he woke up I think he was having nightmares" tony said we all looked at percy

He had dark circles under his eyes sweat ran down his face and his breathing ragged

Thor grabbed a cloth and wiped his forehead "Thor your very silent" I said he nodded and kept his eyes on percy "he is a young worrier" he said softly
"I believe he has been through much"

We looked at him surprised
tony shrugged it of "we should probably get some ,chasing a dangerous teenager around a skyscraper can really take a number on you" I sighed Clint smirked an tony snorted

Thor stayed where he was we looked at him oddly "Thor?" I asked he looked at me

"I want to stay with the boy I shall inform you if he wakes" he said and took a seat next to percy we all said nothing and stalked of

When the team left I grabbed Perseus's hand gently "percy I know what you are" I whispered

He made no move to show he was awake his slow breathing calmed me I don't know why but I cared for the boy the young demigod looked pained

I myself know what it is like to be a demigod but I lived with my godly parent and was raised with royalty he was raised around monsters and wars

I sighed ,his eyes scrunched together and he muttered something under his breath I set my other hand on his forehead and he relaxed ,a little spell I learned from mother to relax younger children
