The next day started out gray and cold, rain falling lightly and constantly, creating a sad and gloomy day. Alcina and Lilith laid in bed, talking softly. Lilith was laying on her back, and Alcina with her head on her chest.
"I am truly sorry, my love." Lilith hummed, running her hair through Alcina's hair. She felt her naked chest get wet with Alcina's tears.
"Please don't apologize. Moreau was my brother yes, but I would never ask you to sacrifice your life for his. I'm just... Tired. Tired of Miranda. Love, it's not your fault." she sniffed, trying to wipe the tears from Lilith's chest. Lilith grabbed her hand.
"If I could, I would bring your brother back. I love you."
"I know darling. I love you too." Alcina whispered and gave her a kiss. They laid in comfortable silence, enjoying each other's company. Each other's touch.
"What if we go and have a picnic? At the lake?" Lilith suggested.
"It's raining, dear." Alcina chuckled.
"It's going to stop in the next few minutes, love."
"Well, then. I think it's a great idea. I haven't taken the girls on a picnic since..." she started crying again, remembering their own recent tragedy.
"Please don't cry. You make me feel helpless if you cry." Lilith cooed, pulling Alcina closer.
"I'll go and get the girls and Donna ready. I'll also make sure the chefs pack us a proper basket."
"What do I do?" Alcina asked, looking up at Lilith.
"Stay here and wait for me?" she kissed her on the nose, making her smile.
"I love how you crinkle your eyes when you smile. You'll be the death of me. You relax, I'll be back soon, alright?" Lilith raked the silver hair out of her face.
"Alright, love. Do hurry up, I hate waiting." Alcina ran her hand from between her legs, over her breasts and cupped her cheek, before planting a passionate kiss on her lips.
"Yes ma'am!" she giggled and returned the kiss. Alcina smiled again and let go of Lilith, watching as she got dressed. She put on a pair of black jeans and a purple hood with cat ears. Lilith glanced at Alcina, who laid on her stomach, stretching her arms out, almost like a cat, before getting comfortable again. Lilith bit her lip and wished she could get back into bed. She looked outside, it had stopped raining, the clouds thinning more and more. Lilith ran out of their bedroom and headed to Lily and Amy's room, humming happily as she skipped through the halls. She knocked softly, before opening the door.
"Parva lupi? Good mor-" she stopped, seeing Amy fast asleep, but Lily's bed empty. She walked over to Amy and sat next to her on the bed.
"Amy? Carissimi mei. Time to wake up..." she said softly, rubbing Amy's arm.
"Hmm? Oh, good morning mom." she smiled warmly, stretching her arms. She sat up and tried to rub the sleep from her eyes.
"Good morning, dear. How did you sleep?" she brushed the deep red hair out of her eyes.
"Like the dead. I had a wonderful dream." she yawned, trying to keep her eyes open.
"Oh? Tell me about it?"
"I can't remember, but Karl was there and-"
"Karl?" Lilith frowned. Amy immediately blushed and quickly thought up a response.
"No, no. Not, not like that, mom." she laughed nervously. Lilith squinted her eyes, studying Amy's face, and saw something. She decided to keep quiet.
"Where is that devil of a sister of yours?" she asked, glancing at the empty bed.
"I'm not sure. Let me see." Amy said and closed her eyes. Lilith could see her eyes moving under her eyelids, as she's looking around.
"What are you doing, dear?" she asked, looking puzzled. Amy slowly opened her eyes and grinned.
"She's uhm, we can see through each other's eyes sometimes." she said, looking away from Lilith's green gaze.
"Amy... Look at me sweetie." Lilith gently took her by her chin and turned her head so Amy was facing her. Amy smiled nervously.
"Where is Lily?" she smiled a smile that could make anyone tell her the truth, making Amy giggle.
"She's uhm, upstairs..." Lilith frowned for a moment, before realizing what Amy meant.
"Thank you. Wasn't that hard was it? Now get dressed, we're going on a picnic!!" Lilith yelled excitedly, throwing her arms up in the air. She winked at Amy before running out of the room. She was excited, flying up the stairs. She snatched the first maiden she came across.
"Little mouse. Please go and pack us a picnic basket, with wine and snacks enough for seven of us. Have it ready for us in two hours." she said, and left the maiden. She got to Daniela's room and stopped outside the door. She calmed herself down and knocked.
"Danielaaaaa" she sang. She heard a faint squeal, and what sounded like a body falling on the floor and a shuffling sound.
"Come in Lilith!" Daniela answered. She walked in, hiding her smile and took a seat next to a nervous looking Daniela.
"Good morning, Dani! How did you sleep?" she asked over-enthusiastically.
"Good thanks. How about you and mother?" she asked, her eyes kept darting to her closet and back at Lilith.
"Fan-fucking-tastic!" she smiled, not breaking eye contact with Daniela. Lilith watched as Daniela became more nervous, fiddling her fingers, looking at the ceiling. Lilith laughed out loud, enjoying the game.
"Lily. Come out of the closet, please." she laughed. Daniela lost even more colour from her pale face, panicking.
