Once again I take my seat, rubbing my hands together slowly to comfort myself.
" didn't receive a clue tonight."
Prassidhi blurts out
" I give up."
A voice mutters next to me...
I spin my face towards him and my eyes widen. I don't get it
"Charlie, what are you saying?"
Thomas questions
"I'm the assassin and I knew the murderer was Minji I just want this to end there's no reason that I shouldn't be voted
"You're my friend I can't".
I say
"ALL OUR FRIENDS GOT MURDERED BRUTALLY AND YOU ALL MOVED ON!  But I haven't, I haven't moved on. I want to get out of this nightmare"
I take a moment, did I just move on from all that without looking back, am I some psychopath?

I Grab the paper and write my name on it. Everyone will choose him but I don't want to live on knowing I killed someone. Screw it I've murdered many lives.

"𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗹𝗶𝗲 𝗵𝗮𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗺𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝘃𝗼𝘁𝗲𝘀."

"I-"
I can't say anything, my throat starts to hurt as I hold in my tears Charlie glares at me and smiles painfully

"I'll miss you man, you brought me joy in the smallest ways. I was hoping I could get to know you more but. I guess that wasn't my destiny. Good luck with life This will end soon trust me."

He hands me his journal.

" Thanks for being a good... a friend I suppose sorry I killed dash "

I- what. I suddenly realise Dash wasn't around how did I not notice that and how did charlie even kill him he was with me the whole time. I must have fallen asleep if so, why am I not dead it was simple-

while being lost in my thoughts I look up only to see Charlie on the floor lifeless. I see him slowly open his eyes before another zap takes him out. I feel my eyes watering instantly I wanted to know him more.

𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗿𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗔𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻, 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗹𝗲𝘆, 𝗣𝗿𝗮𝘀,𝗔𝗺𝗲𝘁𝗵𝘆𝘀𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗧𝗵𝗼𝗺𝗮𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘄𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗸𝗲𝗿 𝗯𝘆𝗲 𝗻𝗼𝘄

We won... it's over finally I notice a smile on everyone's face. Freedom, at last, I look at the door and run to open it but fail after a moment or two

Are we gonna get let out now?

𝗣𝗹𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝘄𝗮𝗶𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗯𝗲 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗻𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗹 𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗲𝘀

I notice my wrist cuff start ringing. This was all a lie?

"Are we going to die?"

Prassidhi asks quietly

"𝗧𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝗻 5.."

"I guess not."

I say heartily

I close my eyes knowing this moment will end soon.
