chapter 11: understanding

Y/n pov

I wake up and see yuri still snuggled into my chest, I smile then wake her up

Y/n: yuri, it's time to wake up

With that, she wakes up and looks at me with a smile

Yuri: good morning master

We then got our of bed, when I left the room, I saw Emma walking towards the room, when she saw me she looked down in guilt

Emma: y..y/n, I'm so sorry I...

Before she could say anything else, I pulled her in for a hug

Y/n: it's alright, you don't have to apologise, if anything I should apologise for hitting you, it was uncalled for, I'm sorry

I feel her hug me back tighter

Emma: I thought you would've hated me, for keeping it a secret for so long

Y/n: you idiot, I could never hate you, you're my sister, blood related or not, nothing will ever change that

I then slightly tighten my hold on her and place her head on my chest

Emma pov

Emma: (why does it feel so warm? I could stay like this forever)

I then blush as I realised what thoughts just entered my head

Emma: (what am I thinking?! He's my brother! But he's not blood related)

I then shake my head while blushing

Emma:( no no no! I can't think like that)

He then looks at me with slight consern

Y/n: are you ok? You're face is red

I then blush harder

Emma: n...n...no I'm fine d...d...don't worry about it!

Then I remembered something important

Emma: by the way, celica is awake, you should probably go talk with her

Y/n: alright, thanks sis

As he walked away I started blushing again

Emma: (he IS really handsome)

It was at this point that I realised I just had to accept facts, I was in love with my little brother

Y/n pov

I then walked into the room that we were keeping celica in, when she saw me she growled, I pull out a chair and sit down

Y/n: calm down, I'm not here to hurt you, I just wanna talk

Celica: like I have anything to tell you

She snarled when she said this, but she became silent for a while after I ask her one question

Y/n: who is naomi?

Her eyes widen, after a while she speaks up

Celica: naomi...is my little sister

Y/n: where is she?

She sighs

Celica: she's being held hostage, by the backalley gang

My eyes widen

Y/n: (is that why she was so intent on fighting me?) What did they want from you?

Celica: for whatever reason, they want to take control of the school and they think defeating the strongest person in the school will let them do that, but they are way too cowardly to do it themselves, so they kidnapped my sister and used her as leverage to force me to do it

I then thought about all the information I was just given

Y/n: (everything makes sense now) alright, I've decided

She looks at me confused

Celica: you've decided? Decided what?

Y/n: to help you save your sister

Her eyes widen

Celica: after everything I did you want to help me?

Y/n: that's right

Celica: but, why?

I then stand up

Y/n: because I know how it feels to want to protect your family

Celica pov

I look up at him

Celica: (even though I attacked him, tried to kill him, and almost killed his catgirl servant, he still wants to help me)

I then felt tears start to swell up in my eyes

Celica: thank you

He smiles and then holds out his hand

Y/n: let's get your sister back

I wipe away my tears, and shake his hand

Celica: yeah
