"What exactly does the dark side entail?"
"I'm thinking we do your makeup, maybe a well placed prosthetic here and there and set you up to scare them yourself as revenge."
"I would love to know where you've been all of my life Harry, that's bloody brilliant! I'm in."
"I've been neither here nor there. I'll text Ron and let him know you agreed."
"Do you do the makeup and prosthetics for everyone here?", Draco asked curiously, following him into the back room.
"I make a lot of the prosthetics, yeah! I took some classes at the local uni. I love scaring people I suppose, as sadistic as that may sound. But only when they're into it. You, my dear Draco, clearly wanted to be anywhere else but here."
"It's not you- well technically I suppose it is, I just... I don't even know what I'm trying to say."
His head was still spinning from being called "my dear Draco." He was wondering what exactly the other man looked like without all of the makeup.
"You're not into going to haunted attractions. I'm not offended. In fact, I'm very flattered that you won't even make eye contact with me. It means I'm doing my job well."
"I could if I wanted to", Draco challenged.
"Do you want to?"
"I'm more curious to know what you look like under all of that."
"A lot less attractive I assure you."
That got a real laugh out of Draco, and he felt himself relaxing. Then Harry smiled, no, he grinned at Draco, and Draco felt himself warming up to the other man. Even with the fangs in his mouth.
"So what do you want to do to me then Harry?", Draco asked, leaning against the makeup table.
"That is a very loaded question Draco. I assume you mean with the makeup?"
"I did initially, but now I'm more intrigued than ever about what's going on in that pretty head of yours."
The boldness of his statement even surprised Draco himself.
"All in due time. Now, have a seat. Have you ever worn a prosthetic before?"
"I've worn those cheap Halloween masks, nothing professional."
"Well I'm honored to be your first", Harry flirted.
"Are you always this forward with your customers?"
"I'm not, honestly. There's just something about you, some kind of magnetic pull, I can't explain it. I'm just going with it until I inevitably mess it up. It works for me that you have no clue what I look like, so you're going based off of my personality. I could really be a 3 at best", Harry finished, whispering the last sentence as if he was telling a secret.
"Your personality is a 6 at the bare minimum. I'm sure it only goes up from there."
"Careful with those compliments Draco, I may just fall in love with you."
As the two men had been talking, Harry was carefully removing the prosthetics covering his hands. They went to the extreme here, which made it all the more fun for him.
"Well, you'd be the first."
Harry looked up at him, trying to raise an eyebrow before remembering Draco couldn't even see.
"I highly doubt that. If people aren't throwing themselves at your feet it's because they find you far too intimidating to approach. I don't think I would've been able to speak to you if you hadn't needed someone to catch you."
