Chapter 17 - Death of the Speed Force

Mirror Sarah POV

I was at the lounge with everybody. Wally aka Kid Flash came back to visit us. We were throwing him a welcome-home party. Currently, he has a zen vibe and he's making stuff by using his speed.

A lotus flower," Cecile smiled.

Okay, that is seriously beautiful," Joe commented.

Yeah, I'm definitely gonna need you to teach me how to do that," Barry muttered.

The lotus is one of the eight auspicious symbols meaning purity and renunciation, practice which I'm currently being guided through by Bhikkhuni Amala, the Buddhist nun assigned to my Peace Corps camp," Wally mentioned.

Wow, purity and renunciation," Cecile commented. "Guess that means more wine for me."

Wally laughs. "Just being here celebrating with family, new friends, is all the joy I need," He smiled.

Look at you getting your Zen on," I said.

Sarah's POV

Eva and I were here watching my family and friends at the S.T.A.R. Labs lounge. Wally's back. He has the zen vibe going on.

It's working," I smiled as tears were brimming in my eyes. I miss my family and friends so much.

Who is that?" Eva asked me.

That's my brother-in-law, Wally," I told Eva. "He looks so happy." I cried quietly. "I wish I was there."

Eva then sighs and the reflection of the lounge went away. "I'm sorry," She apologized. "I couldn't hold the window any longer."

It's okay," I tell Eva. "It was so good to see them, even if it was just for a second."

You miss your family," Eva said.

I nodded. "Yeah, well, I've been trapped in here for weeks and...losing my sense of time like I'm in some sort of dream," I stated. "All the while, my family is out there with my evil clone that isn't me."

I hope they don't forget about you as quickly as my Joseph forgot about me," Eva tells me and grabs her glass of water. "He used to come to my mirror every day and try to figure out a way to get me out."

Does he know that you're still in here?" I ask Eva.

I don't know," Eva answered and drank her water.

I walked over to Eva. "Barry calls me his lightning rod," I smiled. "He used to say that he could find me anywhere in the universe."

Seems like there's nothing he wouldn't do for you," Eva tells me.

I looked at Eva.

I haven't seen my husband in years," Eva continued. "I haven't touched him in 72 months...312 weeks...2,190 days. 2,190. 2,190. 2,190.
