"What was that for?"
"For drugging me last night."
Your brown eyes laid a poised gaze upon Yui's taller and muscular older brother. You tried to appear strong, but it would be a lie to say you're not trembling in fear at the slightest..You hold your ground as you try to reset your psyche to remain calm.
Saiki hesitated, but still answer you nonetheless.
"Eh? What are you talking about? Have you truly gone mad?"
He quirked his eyebrows. His face following with his innocent act as he stares back at you like you had truly gone crazy.
"Seriously? You're using the innocent card?" You facepalmed yourself, " It was in that warm milk, right? What did you put in it? And you..!" With a bold finger, you pointed it to Saiki's personnal assistant.
"You were the one that served it!"
The girl beside Saiki had long silver-white hair that was tied low and seemed to have a glow on its own. Her exotic beauty shone through the cover of her facemask. Her grey-blue eyes caught yours as she finally looked up to your face.
Her cheekbones lifted; A smile, as a way to hide her detest.
"It seems that you are prone to wrapping your mind around such absurd ideas, Young Miss."
She narrowed her eyes, "Especially during yesterday's dinner... I heard you fell down the stairs a few days ago. Is the Young Miss not considering to visit a neurologist?"
Her voice was resonant and there was a tint of foreign accent laced with the words. She flashed an eye-smile as her head tilted slightly in way to look friendly.
You turned to the maids behind, "Did she just indirectly say I'm stupid?"
"I-I" The maid didn't know what to answer you.
You turn back to the foreign girl, "You just called me stupid didn't you?"
"My, If that's what the Young Miss has concluded my speech to," She chuckled.
"You little-" But before you could do anything that would initiated a catfight Saiki went in between you two. His broad shoulder immediately breaking the hostile gaze you two were holding.
He ordered his personal assistant, to which you finally knew her name was Lily, to stop whatever she was doing. You were out of your wits when she did a full 180 as soon as the orders came out from her Master's mouth. She went from a bitch to an innocent child as she stares at Saiki with utmost respect and obedience.
"I'm not mad what you did to me, Saiki. I just want to know why. " You said as you went closer to him. You tiptoed up to his ears before whispering out the next words.
"'What is it that you try so hard to hide from me, that you decided to bring drugs into it?"
You pulled back, now looking him straight in the eyes. You need to know why he had done it. Was it involve with Mother anyhow? Regardless, usage of drugs even towards your own family was definitely a red flag, no wonder which angle you look at it.
"Don't hold the burden all by yourself, Saiki. You are not the only one involve."
Your words were constructed just the right way so that one thought would pop in Saiki's head.
That you two were siblings. And so the burden of the family problems are meant to be shared together.
"I don't know what you are saying. Get out of the way, I have more important things to do." He shoved you out of the way.
