When you first came into my world,
You p a i n ted a whole different version of yourself.
But it is my fault; I did not look in depth.
Could not see your true colours behind that canvas.
You put me into your red jar from the start.
Trapped me in a circle of emotions.
I drown in you, as if you were the ocean
And your blue jacket would twist its sleeves
To get to my body, then to my mind.
I called it "A lovely deceive".
You wisely used your pencil to draw the lines
And I was too blind to read between them.
But still I wasn't
Still I am not able to erase it.
But still
I thank you.
You gave me red
You gave me blue
And now
I will become purple.
I will sparkle.
The p a i nt you put me through
Over and over again
Made me realise my true purpose:
Being an Artist.
Creativity
Extravagance
Wisdom
Dignity
You could never brush them off
Off my purple world.
