Spent ten years through sweat and tears
Forced to shut my mouth and cut my ears
Painted a picture of me that was not real

Used to stay in the closet
And to hide in my mother's lap.
Conceptions was the depart
But now I am dancing in a sunflower field
Don't need a sword or a shield

Comfortable in my own skin
Safe to feel how I feel

I am Water under the Bridge.
Mom, dad
Look at me now
I am finally free
Got a new pair of eyes to see
A new pair of lungs to breath
I am walking in a new pair of feet.
