THE SCHOOL BELL had just rung and Osamu was on his way out of Inarizaki High, not bothering to wait for his brother who was most likely stuck behind finishing some stuff in class, as that was the reason he is usually late to practice, which they didn't have that afternoon.

As he was walking, his close friend Hana approached him. "Hey 'Samu!" His attention turned towards his friend. "Oh hey Hana, what's up?"

Him and Hana had become friends from sitting beside each other in class, eventually leading to them getting to know each other.

"Oh nothing, I just wanted to ask who the girl you were talking to outside the gym was?"

Osamu was confused as to why she asked such a question but still answered anyway.

"Oh she's just Akagi's friend who makes food for me." The girl walking beside him was left confused. "Huh?? Why??" She tilted her head.

"Oh, She's a chef and she just needs me to try the food she makes." Hana still didn't understand what he had just said all that well but chose to leave it at that.

"So you're just friends right?" Osamu had thought about it for a little while as they continued walking.

Were they even friends?

Osamu had just shrugged in response to her question. "Well, if you two aren't friends then-" She was cut off by Osamu's phone which had a notification on it.

Y/n didn't reply to the message right away, but read the message. Osamu was suddenly eager to see her response, still ignoring his friend beside him.

chef.y/n:
idk

Ig I count u as a friend

But thats what i count everyone

so u gotta be the one to decide

Having read her message, he felt confused deep down. Did he see her as a friend? How was supposed to respond to her?

All his thoughts were cut off by someone shaking him and calling his name. "OSAMU!" He looked towards his left and saw Hana with a mad expression. "What?? I was literally just texting a friend."

The girl then pointed to the house they were standing in front of, which so happenly was Osamu's house. "O-oh, sorry.."

He put his phone back in his pocket and bid his friend goodbye before opening the door to his house and entering.

Once the gray haired boy had closed the door of his house, his blacked haired friend started heading towards her house, which was not that far from his. As she walked, her hand was in a tight fist.

"GODDAMMIT..."

A/N: the gifs be making me hungry- but on to more important matters, this chapter is absoulute dog water and im probably gonna rewrite it sooner or later so sry if u decide to re-read this chapter in the future and find its different-
