"Tell me you love me."

"I... I l-love y-y-ou," Peter sighed.

Tony got off the boy and lay down next to him. He even threw a blanket over them. He hugged the thin boy, pulling him closer. He buried the face of the young man's curly, slightly sweaty hair, whispering, "You're amazing."

In the morning, the man woke up alone.

"Baby-" he whispered, holding out his hand. When he found out that Peter was not lying next to him, he sat and rubbed his eyes, trying to suppress a small feeling of panic.

Tony took his T-shirt and pants out of the closet and left the bedroom. He heard a rumble from the ground floor and decided to postpone the morning shower and make sure, that Peter wasn't inventing another escape attempt or anything else he was forbidden to do.

Peter cursed softly as the fork fell to the ground. He was so preoccupied with his work that he heard no sounds at all indicating that Tony is awake, and when he heard his husky voice behind him, he shout and turn sharply. The man laughed at the boy's frightened eyes.

"What are you doing here?" Tony asked nicely.

"I-I...I am-m..."

"You?" Anthony kept teasing the boy.

"I w-wanted to make you, you break- breakfast... before you wake up... and wish you happy birthday." Peter was crumpling the bottom of his T-shirt in his hands and hypnotized the floor. After the boy tried to pour boiling water on Tony, he was only allowed to cook at certain moments or under Tony's supervision. He hoped he could get an exception if he wanted to make something for Tony.

"Birthday? How did you-" Tony paused. He never told the young man about it.

"I saw a birthday card from ehhh... Clint on the table," Peter explained, pointing to the living room. "I'm so-sorry, I didn't want to... snoop around."

Tony didn't show it, but he was moved. A sincere smile appeared on his face. He took a few steps toward Peter and kissed him. The boy was relieved. Tony broke the kiss, but stayed close enough.

"And... how old are you?" Peter whispered, looking into Tony's eyes.

"It doesn't matter," the man replied, pulling the boy closer for another kiss.

"Pete," Tony says, and the young man jerks. "Did you come to help me?" The man looks at him with a smile adorning his face. Peter smiles back and lowers his eyes as if ashamed.

"Or I can just watch you," the boy shrugs innocently. He still hides his hands behind his back and crushes the hard object in his fingers. He stares at his kidnapper, tense. He smiles as best as he can. As soon as a man returns his attention to cooking, Peter's smile disappears. He wants the thing he's going to do to hurt Tony.

He wants to see him writhing on the ground.

He wants to see him worrying between the individual screams and begs for forgiveness.

He needs to see how Tony suffers. Every minute, every second, until his death, would be so painful that Tony would desperately beg for it to dissapear, as he suffocated and blood red as rubies flowed from his body... until the end...

Part of him will disappear with Tony, but he won't hurt Peter anymore. He will be free. He almost forgot what the word meant. However, his memories will remain, no one will take them from him. Like all the scars on his body. They will serve as a reminder of him. It will be painful, yes. He will stand over his body and may even try to pray for his soul... because Peter cares about Anthony. Even after everything he did to him. He loves him and hates him at the same time.

With a pounding heart, the boy strides toward the man.

You still have time to back off.

No!

You love him.

I hate him!

Without him, you are lost and you know it!

Remember all those beautiful moments!

And what about those other moments?

The boy shakes his head to make the unwanted thoughts go away, and then strikes the unsuspecting Stark's head with all his might.
