CHAEYEON'S POV

The moment we arrive at the border where the fog is, we were surprised at our arrival, the place is covered with snow despite the fact that it is still autumn in Oneiric, also, strangely, we didn't even feel cold

"Woah, I think Hyewon Unnie was supposed to be here"

Yuri said as she looks around the place, while I am looking at the fog

"What do you think is behind this fog?"

I said as I try to touch the fog, I'm really curious about what is hidden and what is happening there.

"How about trying your magic Unnie, You can just wipe the fog away so that we can see the other side"

Nako suggest and I agree with her

"Yuri, protect everyone first"

I instructed and she immediately obeyed, she surrounds the others except me with an energy barrier, I raised my arms and release not so huge magic, but then it didn't work so I decided to use higher magic, I close my eyes and try to summon a tornado, I doubt this kind of magic will fail

"Shit!"

I can't help but cursed as I saw how my tornado disappears and fail to wipe away the fog, but what surprised me the most is how it kinda backfires on us.

"Unnie!"

I heard Yuri shouted as I almost flew away because of how strong the wind is around us but luckily Yuri can be able to catch me and made me enter her protection barrier

"Woah! That was close!"

Nako blurted out as a deep sigh escape her mouth

We waited for the wind to disappears before we come out of the barrier

"I swear, I'm not gonna do that again"

I muttered as I look at the fog that seems indestructible, we decide to continue to look around we the thought that we might get some clues that can help us

"Enchantress, you need to see this!"

Oneiric General said and we immediately followed him we found 3 Enchanters lying on the ground, but the strange thing is their bodies are covered with black root-like

"Nako, do you know what is this?"

I asked and Nako immediately walk towards one of the bodies, while Yuri covered her with some protection charms, nako summons a small knife to get some roots and examined them, I help her and use my magic to levitate the roots so that she didn't need to use her hands to get it, she held her chin as she carefully examines it

"Well, I'm not really sure unnie but I think it's radixnigra"

She said and it made me raised an eyebrow

"And what exactly it is Nako?"

Yuri asked

"It's a type of ancient plant that can only be found at the lunar temple, and honestly, I don't exactly know the details about this but I think Yujin and Chaewon knew something"

She explained as she put the said plants in her magical pocket

"I think we already have the information we need, let's go back to the castle before it gets dark"

I said and they nodded, we are about to leave when I suddenly felt a weird presence around us, and I think the others since they immediately summon their weapon
