Chapter 3

After a couple of days after the entrance exam, the results were announced. Miyake and Shin are currently relaxing in the living room.

Miyake POV

"So you wanna go check out the results?"

"Yeah sure" with his answer both of us get up and as I open the front door to leave I am greeted by two male figures

"Oh...Hi there Uncle Dis and Aug" I greet the two guests

"Hello!!" Shin also greets them with a smile on his face

"Hi!/Good morning" they greet us back

"You wanna come inside and drink some tea?" I ask the two

"Sure, why not. We aren't in a rush anyway," Uncle Dis responds for the two as they come inside and the butler closes the door behind them

"So is there any particular reason you came to visit us?" I ask while sitting down at the table

"Yeah, I wanted to see if you guys wanted to check out the results with me?" Aug asks us

"Yeah, we would love to" Shin happily responds

"Ho, you scared you might not make it, so you need emotional support" I try to tease him a bit

"Who knows, I think Shin might be in the most danger here" my attempt is unsuccessful but I see where he is going

"That is most certainly true," I say mimicking Augs behavior

"EEEEHHHHHHHHHHH, why?" Shin asks flustered

"No reason/No reason" Me and Aug responds at the same time

"EHHHHHHHHH?" Shin still isn't getting it

"HAHAHAHAHHAH, your reactions are the best" Aug comments while laughing

"Do we have guests?" We hear Grandpa yell from upstairs

"Oh good to see you Diseum," Grandpa says

"Nice to see you too" Uncle Dis responds while they shake hands

"I believe this is the first time we meet, master Merlin. I am very delighted to be able to see a hero such as you in this fine day." Aug politely greets Grandpa

"That's emotionally moving..." Shin thinks to himself

"Oi don't think I didn't miss that small blush you blondie"

"Anyways Aug want to head out?" I ask him

"Sure, let's go" he quickly responds and we walk out the front door

"Eh, you didn't bring an escort with you, Aug"? Shin asks him

"If there is a better escort than the two of you, introduce me to him"

"Yeah, you're right about that. Also..." I say as I turn on my heel "Why are you coming along as well?" I ask the old man that is following us which shocks him a bit

"Because I want to see how you did," He says innocently

"And cause a scene, no thank you" I shot him down immediately

"That is right. Just me will be enough" Uncle Dis speaks up

"Huh, the same goes for you." Aug also shoots down his father

And we continue on our way while those two walk back with slumped shoulders

Little time skip in town

"My father has visited master Merlin's abode so many times, hasn't he?" Aug asks us

"Yeah, occasionally" Shin answers while I keep eating the yakitori look alike that we bought earlier
