The Doctor:

I loved new Sera, her shy smile, when her hair fell across her face as she blushed and she liked to half hide behind me if we were meeting someone new. She was different, but the same, just as we would always be.

"Angel, where are we going next? Amy has been complaining about us always going somewhere cold." She asked, wrapping her arms around me from behind as I sat up in bed, rubbing my eyes. "Speaking of cold, has anyone ever told you that you that your body is freezing cold?"

Laughing, I twisted around to face her, pulling her onto my lap. "Well, you used to be pretty freezing yourself, and now, you're my little radiator, my little ray of warmth, of, sunshine, of light, of everything. And, now I am going to kiss my little ray of sun, and we are going to have a shower, and wake up the Ponds."

"Oh, but do we have to wake them up? It's quite quiet when they're asleep. And Amy is always by my side, she barely lets me go to the toilet on my own!" She complained and I just laughed harder, kissing her softly.

"She thought she lost you, for a moment. We all did, but you can't blame her for that. But, someplace warm, huh? How about..... Rio? Rio, at El Carnivale?"

Sera grinned up at me, lying across my lap. "Mmm, that sounds amazing. Love you, my Angel."

"And I love you my Dear Princess. Come on, shower time." I swept her up, her new body a lot longer than the previous one, but it was also a lot less bony, her curves were a little less angular and she was more natural beauty than supermodel with immense glamour. "Ah, you are so amazing."

"And you, are too. Past or future or present? I haven't seen anything to do with it yet, and hopefully I won't. So, what are you going to wear, and don't say carnival beads, because I really don't want to see those on you. But, I have to admit, I do kinda love those bow ties and tweed now."

That made me grin even more. "That, is brilliant news. Come one, shower." I put her down in the tub and turned on the water. "There, hows that?"

She looked at me, her long brown locks getting weighed down by the water cascading down on her. "You are so going to pay for that one. I swear that this will come back to you threefold." And then she grabbed me and pulled me under the water, kissing me long and deep. Yeah, she was still my Sera.

Amy:

"Behold, Rio." The Doctor grinned, opening the doors and throwing his arms out. Sera and I followed, Rory behind us.

"Nah." I shook my head, feeling how cold the air was around us. We were in the UK, couldn't be anywhere else.

Rory looked at the Doctor and Sera, who was wearing a similar dress to what I had first seen her in, except this time it was purple, and she had a wrap for it. And still no shoes. "Not really getting the sunshine carnival vibe."

"No? Ooo, feel that, though. What's that?" He jumped up and down, trying to get Sera to do the same, but she just shook her head. "Ground feels strange. Just me. Well, Sera feels it, she just doesn't want to jump. Wait. That's weird."

"What's weird?"

"Doctor, stop trying to distract us. We're in the wrong place. Sera, it's freezing and we've dressed for Rio. We are not stopping here. Doctor, Seraphina. You listening to me? It's a graveyard. You promised me a beach."

My sister was staring at the ground. "Blue grass. Patches of it all around the graveyard. So, Earth, 2020-ish, ten years in your future, wrong continent for Rio, I'll admit, but it's not a massive overshoot. For him, anyway." He tried to protest. "Metebelis 3, Angel, Metebelis 3." That shut him up.
