Jealousy

"Would you, uh...would you like to sleep here tonight?" He asked, you looked to him with a vibrant smile.

"Really? Oh that'd be excellent. Thank you, Sir." You exclaimed with a big smile.

"I's has a plan." Mary announced, breaking the thoughts of the others. "Ifs we's all flirts and do's things with Y/N, we's'll see ifs the Captains is jealous." She explained, everyone was intrigued now.

"Perfect. We'll set up different times for each of us to go do something with him." Julian agreed, pointing his thumb out. Everyone huddled in a group and discussed ideas.

You walked through the halls of Button house cheerily. You heard a cough from behind you and turned around quickly. "Oh Hello, Thomas." You smiled.

"Y/N, I was wondering if you'd like to go on a walk around the grounds with me?" He asked, you were confused but happy.

"Why thank you, Thomas. I'd be delighted to." You replied cheerily, you saw Julian and Robin playing chess.

"Hello, Everyone. Y/N, I was wondering if we could-" The Captain was interrupted quickly by Thomas.

"Sorry, Old chap. Y/N and I were just about to go on a walk." Thomas smirked, Julian and Robin laughed at their table.

"Possibly, I could come?" He asked once more, Thomas shook his head and interlocked arms with you. You waved at the Captain and was dragged to the gardens by Thomas.

"Right here was a training ground. Trail and trail everyday for months." You told Thomas who seemed interested in your stories.

"Must of been so hard for you." He commented, acting upset but really having no clue what you were on about.

"It was fine. You got used to it after awhile." You ranted on about the excitements of the war until you got back to the house. "That was lovely, Thomas. Thank you."

"Anything for you, Y/N." He bowed, you smiled and walked inside the house to Robin smiling happily at you.

"Hallo, Y/N. Julian is busy, can you play chess?" Robin asked.

"Oh I'm not the best but of course!" You sat down at the chess table and played chess with Robin, not touching the pieces but imagining them moving.

"What's going on here?" Captain asked, standing behind your chair.

"Me and Robin were just playing some chess." You told him, pointing to the position you wanted your pawn to go. "Oh and Robin has just won...Well done, Robin."

"Well, I was wondering if-"

"Y/N! Alison said she'll put some music on for us to dance, she's busy with the people downstairs right now." Kitty ran up to you and asked, you couldn't say no to her smile, you'd break her heart.

"Of course, Kitty!"

"But I was-" The Captains voice cracked, he seemed annoyed.

"I'm sorry, maybe later, okay?" You said before being dragged away from him once again. Alison turned on some music for you and you came up with a dance routine with Kitty.

A song came one, a slow dancing song. She looked at you excitedly and held your hand and shoulder. "Like we're in a ballroom!" She gasped eagerly. You held her waist and hand uncomfortably, twirling around the room. She was happy, and laughing, that was all that mattered to you. "Oh this is wonderful!" She exclaimed.

From the door, Captain was watching you dance with her, seeing how happy you looked when in reality you were only doing this for her. You flopped down on the couch, out of breath. He walked away, contemplating his feelings for you.

"Ah, Y/N and Kitty! Just the people I need to see. We are having food club now, come on!" He dragged you both up and brought you to the others. "Go on, Y/N. It's your go."

"Oh, uhm, okay...Well. In the war we didn't have the greatest good, actually it was disgusting. We were lucky to have eaten at all..." You ranted about the disgusting the biscuits were, how they made you basically throw up.

"Ah, hello everyone...what's going on?" The Captain walked in finally, he wasn't usually this late.

"We're having food club, like we usually do." You told him, everyone looked at each other with a panic.

"I was told it was cancelled." He said as he walked in. "Carry on." He stood behind the couch.

"Y/N, have you ever been told how eloquently you speak? Your words flow the oceans waves." Thomas complimented followed by agreement.

"Thank you, Thomas. You're all being awfully kind today..." You said, your suspicions being raised.

"I just wanted to show how much I truly appreciate you, you beautiful man." Thomas continued to flatter you, everyone in the room was complimenting you then, other than Captain, who kept quiet.

"I was wondering if we could have a sleepover, Y/N, with Mary because your room is occupied." Kitty said, you had to refuse.

"I was going to be staying with Captain tonight, actually. Thank you for the offer." Everyone looked at each other with fear in their eyes. "Right, what is going on?!"

"Oh nuffin! Carrys on! We'd all love to 'ear it." Mary tried to convince you terribly, everyone agreed with her and tried to get you to continue.

"No. I'm going to my room...well his room." You pointed to the Captain and furiously stormed out, wishing you could slam doors for dramatic effect.

"I don't think it worked." Pat said, clicking his tongue. "Actually, I think it made it worse."

"What were you trying to achieve by bombarding him and overwhelming him?" Captain asked, aggression in his voice.

"To makes yous jealous." Mary remarked without thinking, Captain laughed passive aggressively.

"It certainly did not work." The Captain lied.
