"Ah, Y/N! We're hosting music club, care to join us?" Pat asked, you agreed and sat on the back of the couch, your legs between Julian and Captain. "Right, it's Julians turn to show some music, go on Julian!"

Julian went on to sing Anaconda by Nicki Minaj, saying he'd heard it on the radio a few years ago. Fannys face was frozen in a shocked and disgusted look and the energy in the room was...awkward.

"Well...Y/N, why don't you go next?" Pat clapped. You thought of a song quickly and walked to the front.

"I'm not the best singer, but I've learnt that from Julian that you don't need to be a good singer. Anyway, I'll be singing We'll meet again by Vera Lynn, from the late 1930s" After telling them your song, The captains face lit up.

"We'll meet again, Don't know where. Don't know when, But I know we'll meet again some sunny day." The words flowed like a river in the hot summers day. Captain was bewitched with your charm and eloquence and began to hum and mumble along. He stared at you with so much adoration in his eyes that he found himself getting lost in yours.

"That was beautiful." Mary said, clapping. You'd never expected those words to come out of Mary of all people. Kitty's eyes were wet as she clapped.

"Thank you. That was my mother's favourite song at her end." You smiled, walking to the back of the couch again.

While everyone was fixated on Robins moonah song, The Captain grabbed your hand and pulled you into the library. You were confused at first but went along with it.

"That was the most beautiful thing I've ever heard." He told you, you smiled at thanked him kindly. He held your hand and inched closer to you.

"What are you doing, Captain?" You asked, he held your chin and stroked your cheek making you blush a deep red. "Ca-" You were interrupted by his lips pressing against yourself, it was soft and gentle. You melted into it and held his neck, kissing him back. This is what you'd been waiting for.

"DISGRACEFUL."

You turned your head and saw everyone's head popping out of bookshelves, there eyes wide. Fanny looked angry, angrier than anyone you'd ever seen. Kitty had a huge smile on her face.

"Fanny, I can explain." Captain said, holding onto your waist protectively.

"I don't want to hear it! I will not have this disgusting behaviour in my own home!" She was enraged at two people just kissing. Two people who loved each other just kissing.

"Fanny, please just listen." He begged her, he begged his friend to listen to an explanation of love. She walked away, not listening to the man she called a friend.

"She'll come around eventually." Pat reassured the two of you, you smiled at him.

"Carry on, don't be too loud." Julian ordered jokingly, clearly uncomfortable with the situation. They all left in one and he turned to you again.

"Where were we?" You asked, wrapping your arms around his neck once more.

"At the part where I told you my undying love for you and over so many days and nights, you've been haunting my mind, Darling." He moved the hair out of your face then caressed your check. "But I'd rather show you my adoration." He pressed his lips against yours once more, pressing your body against his.

It was much more passionate than the last but it still felt the same, soft and gentle and what he'd been dying to show you for days, months even.

"The dirty harlots." Fanny told Alison and they walked up the stairs, she rambled on about the sight she saw. Alison walked in and saw the two of you looking at the books on the bookshelf.

"Oh, Alison! I was wondering if you could get The Catcher in the Rye for me?" You asked kindly, Fanny looked confused at the sudden change in attitude. Alison put the book down and flipped to the first page.

"What?! No go back to the kissing!" Fanny exclaimed angrily, you both turned around to her with a disgusted face.

"Alright...tell me all about that book, Darling." Captain kissed your forehead goodbye and left to join the others in music club again. Fanny stormed out of the room furious but Alison stayed.

"So how was it?" She asked, you flopped back on the couch and sighed happily.

"It was amazing. Perfect. It felt so...natural, like it was meant to be that way." You told her, smiling harder than you'd ever smiled. "I actually love him." You admitted, turning around to her and standing up. "I'm in love, Alison!"

"You're in love." She replied, laughing at your excitement but happy for the two of you.

"And I get to spend...until the end of eternity with him."

"Until the End of Eternity." The Captain whispered in the other room, smiling to himself. Forever. That was forever.
