𝐂𝐇𝐀𝐏𝐓𝐄𝐑 𝐎𝐍𝐄

𝐀 𝐒𝐔𝐍𝐍𝐘 𝐌𝐎𝐑𝐍𝐈𝐍𝐆 came over the land of monstadt,heat waving upon different places as sweat is trickling on a female's temple few panting sounds escaping her mouth while she steadily kept herself standing after being able to defeat and bring down the monsters that caused destruction near the dawn winery.

Hearing a stern voice from afar,the
(e/c) hued lady directed her head towards where the source of voice can be found,gripping tightly and firmly at her sword she prepared herself to attack if it ever could be an enemy, once her eyes laid on a fine gentleman her lips immediately turned upwards showing a light yet soft smile.

beaming brightly,she exclaims the man's name "𝐃𝐈𝐋𝐔𝐂!" sliding her sword back onto its rightful spot,she started marching to where the red-haired is. the man merely watched her effort on reaching her destination quietly pondering to himself what reward can be given to the hardworking girl. He was supposed to get there to fight the hillichurls instead of her although the lady knight stays present at any time someone will need help,he isn't an exception.

"there's wine in the tavern,grab a drink" he huffs,poker face unwavering never breaking its facial expression as he simply stares at her smiling face "OHH SO 𝐌𝐀𝐒𝐓𝐄𝐑 𝐃𝐈𝐋𝐔𝐂 will give me some for free?" the (h/c) haired speaks out loud evidently bringing annoyance to diluc before he can give her his response a reverberating thunder strikes from above followed by water wetting them together.

"i don't need an umbrella but you can use one if you need" he extends an umbrella gripped from his strong hand,handing it to her the knight paused for a moment allowing her mind to wander around trying to figure out if it'll be a wise decision on having it for herself concluding her choice,the lady snapped out of her thoughts after seeing the man disappearing from her field of sight.

"oh right,he is going to the dawn winery he's the owner so who in the barbatos would throw him out it" she utters quite loudly,taking a grasp onto the umbrella that became the main reason why she contemplated for almost 2 mins wether to have it or not. turning her entire body to the opposite side her eyes grew sharp as though a predator is trying to catch its prey however she cannot be blamed for abruptly switching her cheerful mood into a serious one.

Afterall her vigilance caught up on the presence that have been lurking and hiding within the shadows,narrowing her eyes she spots a small child shaking away the leaves stuck on her wrinkled attire,hurriedly running to the blonde haired girl she covers her by the use of umbrella she holds tightly onto her calloused hands,blocking away any liquid that could fall to them.

“klee!! what are you doing here?” she worriedly inquires voice tone clearly showing a great amount of honest concern. “lady knight! I wanted to came here since i found out monsters came to attack master diluc”
Her small voice answers her question,tilting her head up to face the young (h/c) haired female
The child's eyes glimmers with sincerity,her adorableness seriously striking a hard blow in (y/n)'s heart

feeling a wave of relaxation to her tensed shoulders,her eyes landed on her again checking up if there are any injuries or anywhere she can possibly be hurt on.
“no worries klee,master diluc is all well i was strong enough to beat the monsters down” reassurance quickly rushed on the kid’s heart upon the relieving and soothing words that crossed her ears.

“i'm strong enough to take them out too! Klee is a big girl!” she yells with enthusiasm in the mixture of her happy tone,glancing back at
(y/n) whom remained in the standing position. she softly smiled at the crouching girl before proceeding on opening her mouth to once again to say something “im sure you are and because klee is a big girl already she must know where she must be in now” raising an eyebrow,she chuckles as soon as she sees klee standing up.

“b-but master jean will scold me for coming here” she rejects the unsaid offer, recalling the old sentence the acting grandmaster used to tell her the statement “𝐁𝐄 𝐈𝐍 𝐒𝐎𝐋𝐈𝐃𝐈𝐓𝐀𝐑𝐘 𝐂𝐎𝐍𝐅𝐈𝐍𝐄𝐌𝐄𝐍𝐓” rings and echoes within her mind thingking in a pessimistic way.
instinctively the (e/c) eyed girl felt the anxiousness the kid is currently radiating.

“well you spent time with me which means you are with me through this,i'll explain things with jean im sure she'll understand” calmness flows onto klees emotions once (y/n) earned her trust. nodding her head the child shrugs the hesitance away from her mind and heart.
now sauntering forward to the direction of monstadt,klee's hand intertwines with (y/n)’s as she leads the way.
