A Very Unexpected Meeting

Jaidan drove through the rain as Hannah sat tensely in the passenger's seat.
"Jaidan I hope you know i was a little nervous to drive right now, especially in rain, so i appreciate you taking the wheel." Hannah said trying to somewhat lighten the mood.
"No problem." Jaidan said with a small giggle. "I love the rain anyways."
"I don't need a reminder. You know how many times i've seen you walk back inside soaking wet and asking me to make you a warm cup of coffee while you get into warm clothes?" Hannah replied jokingly.
"Hey! It doesn't matter how old you get, playing in the rain will ALWAYS be fun."
The two of them laughed off the conversation. Suddenly, they saw headlights in the distance.
"Are those survivors?" Hannah said shocked.
"I would think so, i don't see a zombie being able to drive very well..." Jaidan replied
The car they saw started hydroplaning terribly due to the extreme amount of rain. Suddenly the car swerved right in front of the two girls! Jaidan tried to save the situation, but the rain wasn't on their side. The two vehicles crashed. Leaving two mangled vehicles left in the rain.
"OH MY GOD. JAIDAN THE CAR! WHAT WILL WE DO NOW?" Hannah exclaimed.
"One moment..." Jaidan said sternly and angrily. She slammed the car door and bolted over to the other vehicle.
"Jaidan what are you doing? Don't let your temper get the best of you, especially now!" Hannah called to her best friend, but Jaidan continued. Going to the driver's side of the opposite vehicle she looked through the window seeing two unconscious men inside.
"Damn, they're dead. i was about to go OFF." Jaidan yelled walking back to Hannah who was now standing outside of the car by her door.
"Jaidan even so, it wasn't their fault. The rain is too much." Hannah spoke softly.
"Yeah, You're right, my apologies..." Jaidan said blankly.
Suddenly, both car doors from the opposite vehicle opened and the girls both turned to look.
"I told you, you should've let ME drive Leon! Where the fuck did you get a license?!" The man in the passenger side said shutting the door behind him.
"The rain was the issue not me, this time, i PROMISE!" The young man who was apparently 'Leon' replied.
Jaidan started to speak, "I thought you two died just now. You were just knocked unconscious huh?"
Leon spoke "Yeah, sorry about this whole...situation by the way. Are you two trying to get to safety?"
"YES." Hannah replied for Jaidan.
The other man chuckled. "Alright. We can help with that. My name's Carlos and this here is Leon. I think we are well suited to help you two out."
"Alright!!" Hannah giggled, turning to Jaidan.
"Hey Jaidan, this Carlos guy is REALLY cute!!" Hannah whispered to her friend.
Jaidan laughed it off, leaving the two men confused.
"And you two are?" Carlos asked.
"I'm Hannah!" Hannah said happily. "We will gladly take your help!"
"Alright anyways, I'm Jaidan." Jaidan swiftly introduced herself. "We were headed to the police station across town. Its where we were told to go."
"Ah that station." Leon started. "That one was taken over as well. Carlos and I had to help out civilians and save any survivors left down there."
"Damn." Jaidan said. "Where were you guys headed then?"
"We have a safe spot down past Raccoon City. We were gonna go back there and rest. Looks like we gotta walk though, and bring two more guests in." Carlos smiled.
"Well let's get to walking then! It's quite a ways away." Hannah said.
As they began walking Jaidan teased Hannah about Carlos quietly so they weren't heard. At one point, Hannah shoved Jaidan playfully and accidentally pushed her into Leon.
"What's going on over here?" Leon questioned after catching Jaidan in his arms.
"Just teasing!" Hannah said giggling at the sight before her.
Jaidan and Leon looked at eachother, straightening up with red faces.
"i apologize..." Jaidan said softly.
"it's okay don't worry about it. i didn't mind anyway." Leon said continuing the walk.
Jaidan got flustered and Hannah giggled.
"I see more romantic tension here!" Hannah said to Jaidan.
Jaidan covered her face as the two continued walking behind the guys.
