yet again another game i would be missing
i haven't told my teammates why i was even playing so that's more close people i'm lying to
we haven't even told our family. we will on thanksgiving but rn only me, him and the sparks board knows so i'm not just skipping out on games for no reason and also so i'm not getting fined for 9 months straight to however months we have left in season
coach knows coz well the board has to inform coaches and team management about their players but i told coach myself n e ways

i got my first appointment early today before i'm going to watch our game
it's just a check up and to see how far along i am coz i hadn't gone to the hospital yet in the past three weeks i've known due to busy schedules

"kayla u ready?" melo asked
"ye" i grabbed my phone as we left the house
"can u drop me off at the game after?" i asked melo who nodded

"okay so mrs ball u are around 5 weeks along. if possible i would like a checkup with you in around a months time just to check up on how things are going and by then we should have a definite due date" the doctor smiled at me as she gave me a wipe to wipe the gel off me
"thank you" i spoke as melo thanked her and we was out

i closed the door walking into the arena
i scanned my id card walking in and got my picture taken for our team insta page

i walked into the locker room quiet
everyone was either getting taped up or stretched out

"hey guys" i got everyone's attention and coach nodded at me
"umm i felt i should be honest with y'all on why i haven't been playing these past few days" i spoke and my teammates nodded in agreement
"i'm pregnant" i blurt out and soon i was attacked with hugs
"i'm gonna be an auntie?" jada wayda asked me and i nodded
"y'all all gon be aunties" i smiled at them as everyone let go
"bitch how far" cass asked
"5 weeks" i smiled at her

"another game tonight and again kayla ball is out tonight. it's not yet clearly confirmed as to why she's out but all we've been getting is medical reasons" eric one of our commentators spoke
"well eric atleast she's out here every game supporting the team. it does seem very irregular to not have her playing and turning up the arena every night." ashley our second commentator spoke as we watched the game

"coach sub gab for katie" i suggested to coach as i noticed gab kept fidgeting with her finger
something is wrong
that last block she got looked nasty on the fingers but she walked it off
"what why?" she asked
"her finger. u don't see it? she's in literal pain over there and she keeps pulling on it" i spoke and coach nodded
katie walked over to the stat and commentator table informing them of the sub and she goes in for gab after the next point
