i put kai and lani in some jordans and taking off their bonnets before we left the house

i carried kalani in one arm and holding kaila is hand with my free hand as we walked out the car park towards the entrance of the mall
this mall has the best ice cream in charlotte plus it was kai's choice

cameras flashed everywhere
"no cameras please" kai asked nicely causing paparazzi to back away a bit

"what flavour do you want mama?" i asked her
"chocolate fudge" she said as i ordered for all of us and payed

"is daddy taking you to your track meet tomorrow?" i asked

"baby you'll do great" i said "u still wanna go to practice for basketball after?" i asked
"yea mommy i'll be fine" she replied

when we got back gone melo and the boys were already back
"hey princess" melo said kissing the girls foreheads
"daddy we went to the mall and got ice cream" kai said happily

"yep" i smiled innocently
"she's sad, she wants to spend time with you" i said to melo watching him play with lani

kalani is only one so she doesn't talk as much

i just nodded

"she was just sad because she hadn't seen you in a few days and you went out with the boys today" i explained
"kai!" he called out
"whatchu wanna do on wednesday?" he asked
"helicopter ride" she said and he nodded, kai loves anything to do with heights n the sky n oceans

i knew there was a reason i named her kailani

"and thursday is lanis day" he said letting lani down to walk around

"and this is for you princess" he said handing her a ticket
"really!?" kai said jumping up and down

she loves watching him play
