"Good afternoon, class." The teacher said

"Good afternoon, Madam Hooch." The whole class said in sync

"Welcome to your first flying lesson. Well, what are you waiting for? Everyone step up to the left side of their broomstick. Come on now, hurry up. Stick your right hand over the broom and say, up!"

"Up!" I said with a commanding voice and the broom flies into my hand seconds later the broom flies in to Harry's hand, then dracos and hermione.

"Up!-oof" Ron's broom smacks his face and me and Harry start laughing
"Shut up Harry" Ron snaps at Harry while laughing and rubbing his forehead "you too y/n-"

"M-Mr longbottom you get back here this instant!" Madam hooch clearly panicking and Neville longbottom a griffiondor flying on his broom clearly with no control of his broom, he is a definition of a griffiondork.

He went flying nearly the whole field before and is robe gets caught in a sharp statue and rips making him hit the ground

"Oh, oh, oh, oh dear. It's a broken wrist. Tch, tch, tch. Good boy, come on now, up you get.Everyone's to keep their feet firmly on the ground while I take Mr. Longbottom to the hospital wing. Understand? If I see a single broom in the air, the one riding it will find themselves out of Hogwarts before they can say, Quidditch!" And with that she walks away with Neville to the hospital wing

"Did you see his face? Maybe if the fat lump had given this a squeeze, he'd have remembered to fall on his fat arse." Draco snickerd while some people laughed

"Give it here Malfoy" Harry said moving from the crowd
"No I think I'll leave it somewhere for longbottom to find, what bout on the roof?" And he hops of his broom flying up

"Draco I know your trying to be funny and yes I know longbottom isn't the brightest in and out but can you give it to Harry before he does anything stup-

I was cut off seeing Harry fly up to draco
"Give it here Malfoy or I'll knock you of your broom"
"Is that so" Draco had a smirk on his face and does a 360 on his broom after Harry dashed for him and he the remebrall, I zoom up and grab it throwing it to Harry with a pretty impressed look, I never knew I could throw that good

When Harry catches it we both fly down, the kids cheering for us

"Potters! This way" we look at the voice who said that and saw mcgonagall

"Y/n I'm sor-" Draco started
"No it's okay your just trying to keep your reputation strong ain't that right?" I said looking back and Draco with a hurt and disappointed look with a very fake smile, before he could say anything I went with mcgonagall and Harry

" professor can I have flint and wood for a moment" mcgonagall asks professor quirell, I never liked him he seemed odd and fake
Two boys walked out of the classroom standing infront of mcgonagall and us

"Wood I found you a seeker!, and flint I found you a chaser!" She said happily I wasn't really focused that much still upset at Draco

"Alright so this slytherin is my chaser? Hold on here" he passes me a small ball and gestures me to throw,
I do what he wants to see and it goes threw an open window landing on the ground, to my surprise he's quite shocked I mean who wouldn't be I was shocked myself

"Alrighty me and flint will teach youse quidditch"
"Quid-what now?"
"We're what now?"
Me and flint said at the same time
"Till be quicker together flint and quidditch is a sport we play"

-time skip with Harry and Ron-

We were talking about how me and Harry are the youngest quidditch players in the century And Fred and George come in between us

"Hey, well done, Harry, you too y/n Wood's just told us!" Fred said messing up my hair and I slap his hand away with a groan

"Fred and George are on the team, too. Beaters." Ron joined the convo with us
"Our job is to make sure that you don't get bloodied up too bad. Can't make any promises, of course. Rough game, Quidditch." George laughing at fred rubbing his hand after my slap

"Oh, go on, Harry, Quidditch is great. Best game there is! And you'll be great, too!" Ron said as we went to the courtyard

"But what if we make a fool outta ourselves?" Me and Harry said in sync
"You won't make a food out of yourselves it's in your blood" hermione came out of no where making me up and playfully hitting her arm

" Mione what do you mean it's in our blood?" I said trying to get back to the conversation
"Come on I'll show you" she grabbed mine and harrys arm, before she could pull us to her destination I got pulled by my other arm,
I furrowed my brows in confusion after seeing Draco

" let go of her Malfoy" Ron marching up to draco
"I'd like to have a word if that's alright with you y/n" Draco seethed at Ron and looked back at me
"S-sure?" Clearly confused and hermione let go of my arm before it getting pulled again by Harry

" no that's not alright Malfoy let my sister go" Harry pulled my arm towards him
"What's up with my arms today are they suddenly attractive and everyone's wants to pull them" I said as I pulled my arms off both Harry and Draco

"Everything about you is a-attractive y/n" Ron said staring at me
"Uhm it was a rhetorical question but good to know thanks" I replied looking at Ron clearly uncomfortable

"Ron I swear I don't care if you my friend I'll hex you right now if you talk about my sister like that" Harry said looking at Ron
"I'll hex him even if he looks at her" Draco said glaring daggers at Ron

"Okay Uhm guy I'll be back I want to see what Draco wants" I said with a assuring smile and they all nod and walk away but Harry still looking at us

"Y/n I just want to say-
"Draco if your here apologizing I don't care your reputation is more important" I snapped at walked away following they way the trio went, Draco still following behind

"Y/n please listen I swear I won't be mean again please and hey if I didn't do that you wouldn't be the youngest quidditch player in the century!" He said clearly desperate for forgiveness

"Okay fine I forgive you" I said smiling at him
"Thank Merlin" and with that he hugged me and I left to go to the group

I found out our dad was a quidditch player after that Harry scolded me for forgiving Draco but i didn't care, I went and met up with daphne at dinner telling her about today

We went up to our dorms and fell asleep
That was quite a first day of school
