A True Dragon

The camera pans down as two boys were laying in a pool of blood in a park with one of the boys still being conscious.

Y/n: Damn it. This shouldn't have happened.

As the boy proclaimed, a red magic circle appeared on the ground and the boy began to smile as a familiar red-haired girl came out and noticed the boy.

Rias: Y/n!

Rias ran over to Y/n and began to examine his wounds before pulling out rook and knight pieces and tried placing them in the boy's body, but they refused to enter and were pushed back. When she pulled her pawns out, however, they were about to enter his body, but the girl snatched them out before they could enter.

Rias: I'm sorry Y/n, but I need these pieces for Issei. Please forgive me.

She embraced Y/n with tears in her eyes as his vision began to get blurry then to black.

Y/n slowly started to wake up as his body was sore as he tried to move. When he opened his eyes and scanned his surroundings, he saw he was in some sort of bedroom but when he looked out the window he swears he could see clouds.

???: Hmm...

Y/n heard something as he looked at the end of the bed to see a black cat with a blue ribbon staring at him.

Y/n looked at the cat before reaching his hand out to pet her, but it jumped off the bed and went over to the door, it jumped on the handle and opened the door. Y/n saw it poked its head out the door and yelled.

???: He's awake!

Y/n: The cat can talk. Wait, why am I surprised? I've seen the supernatural.

Y/n heard the sound of footsteps coming to the door when he saw a girl that looks almost like him entered the room.

???: Thank you, Sia. You can go.

The cat nodded and left the room as the girl turns to Y/n.

???: Hello there. I'm sure you're wondering why you are here?

She spoke as Y/n couldn't speak but just stare at her face from similarity and how beautiful she was.

???: Geez, you staring at me is gonna make me blush.

Y/n: Sorry. It's just you look almost like me but just like a beautiful girl.

The girl smiled at Y/n and walked over to sit at the edge of the bed.

???: Thanks. You are quite handsome yourself.

That statement alone got a reaction as Y/n blushed bright red and she giggled.

???: Well with flirting out of the way. I'm gonna answer your first question filling your mind. You are on an Airship way up in the air where nobody can get us. I brought you here after you were on the brink of death from that fallen angel that pierced your stomach.

Y/n looked down at himself to see himself in bandages with his arms turning black.

???: I saw your devil friend about to resurrect you, but she chose to revive the other boy instead. I'm sorry.

Y/n lied back down and stared up at the ceiling sadly.

Y/n: I guess I wasn't good enough for her.

???: That is not your fault. She tried to revive you with other pieces, but your body refused to take them if she had put in her pawns, you would've taken them all and possibly turned them into mutated pawn pieces.

She said as Y/n's eyes widen as he sat up.

Y/n: Me?! A mutated pawn?!

???: Yes, you possess three powerful beings within you.

Y/n: Are you sure? Sirzechs said I had no magical abilities whatsoever.

???: Of course. That is because the beings inside of you don't want to be found. If they did then you would've been turned into a devil long ago and from what I can assume, they don't want to. Now, I didn't save your life for free, I expect something in return.

The girl stood up and turn towards me with a smile.

Y/n: Is there something you had in mind?

???: Yeah. I want you to join my crew.

The girl answered as Y/n stared at her for a couple of seconds before tilting his head in confusion.

Y/n: What?
