You sat on the train, picking at your nails and doing anything to control your anxiety. A frown was plastered on your pretty face, worry and terror mixed in. A splash of almost every emotion sizzled in your stomach, playing tricks on your mind and heart.

Why?

Why did he have to get injured again?

Not just any injury either, something big that he'd have to take time to heal from. It wasn't something you could fix in the snap of the fingers.

Your quirk was good and all, but it wasn't too advanced. Your quirk will become stronger and more powerful with experience and practice. Recovery girl has done much in her time, so her quirk was much better than yours. You just weren't there yet.

You weren't the best, but you weren't the worst. You could admit that, you just needed to work harder for what you wanted.

The train came to a stop and you were taken out of your thoughts. You collected your belongings and hurried off of the train.

You stood in the busy city of Hosu, your face puzzled and fatigued as you looked around at the tall buildings.

On any other day you'd be excited to be in a big city, in which you could buy some nice things and go to new places. But your reason for being here was far from exciting.
