oh the sadness inside my head,
the regret that fills my chest,
they all tear me,
at every unwanted breath.•••
Mingi tried all he can to avoid San, and San was no fool to not figure it out. after their heart to heart conversation yesterday, Mingi has been very much obviously trying to avoid San. in their way back home he sat at the passenger seat and isolated himself with his earphones, Hongjoong giving him glares because the male seemed to know everything that San wouldn't put it far that he knew about their fight. in the dorm, Mingi would leave the room as soon as San was there, would disappear in the kitchen when San's in the livingroom with Yunho or in his room when San and Yunho decided to have a late night snack.
San and Yunho were starting to get pretty close — well, if you'd call Yunho chattering all the time and San just zoning out being close. so, taking the opportunity this morning, the black haired boy interrupts Yunho's blabbering about sweet potatoes and how he's been craving them lately to finally ask the question that has been circling around his mind all day.
"hey, Yunho?" the addressed boy hums, and San continues. "has Mingi talked to you at all since yesterday?"
Yunho throws his duffle bag to the floor and sits down, followed by the younger who sits quietly and patiently, waiting for his answer.
"yes, but we fought when he did, it was pretty intense," the boy shivers, "i think it's something you did..? i don't know, but he seemed pretty riled up. i told Hongjoongie hyung though and he forced Mingi into his room for hours after you fell asleep, and i think shit went down or i don't know."
San hums, leaning back against the wall. so Mingi talked to both boys and was scolded by Hongjoong or something like that, which is interesting. he doesn't know why, but he's so intrigued to know what's exactly going on in Mingi's mind right now, but he wouldn't dare ask, the fight from yesterday was enough to leave him scared and messed up for a few days.
"he told me something, though," Yunho adds as an afterthought, "he said you auditioned with a friend, did they get in?"
Jeongin. San's eyes widen, he completely forgot about the boy. he hasn't seen him once since the first day they arrived together, and now he feels concerned for some odd reason. what happened to him?!
"holy shit," he breathes out panickedly as he stands up and dashes out of the room. he has pumped into a few of the people he saw on the audition day once or twice, but he hasn't seen Jeongin once, and knowing the boy, he probably would've gone searching for San as soon as he wasn't busy.
San runs down to the reception, as he thinks that it would be the best place to start searching from, and immediately walks to the reception lady who's been eyeing him up and down every morning he walks in with his members.
"excuse me, do you know where's Yang Jeongin?"
the lady sighs dreamily, but shakes her head. "if i tell you, what would you do for me in return?"
San pukes in his mouth and takes a step back, because first of all she knows he's still underage, and this is considered some sort of pedophile (right?) and secondly, she could be the same age as his nonexistent mother for all he cares about, she could be in her late 40's or even older.
