Naruto: The Rise of a New Eye

Round 1

A small boy

A very bright one who would shove away his problems in order to be able to eat his favorite food in peace

Ramen

"One more oji-san!" The boy screamed with joy, he had been sitting in a small ramen stand with only his food, thoughts and a nice middle aged man whom he enjoyed his company with. The 8 year old boy himself had long red hair that went down until his shoulders. He also bore two bright blue eyes and three whisker marks that made him stand out a lot

"Right away Naruto my boy!" The man screamed back matching the energy of Naruto and even gave the red head a great smile

"Oto-san!" A girl screamed, coming out it showed a little girl slightly older than Naruto. She walked away from the back storage into the front area to greet their regulars. "Hello Uzumaki-san" The girl greeted happily while Naruto only sipped on his noodles and gave her a friendly wave

After he had finished eating he got off the stool and made his way to the outside morning showing his outfit that included orange shorts and sandals along with a black short sleeve shirt

And now came his despair

While he walked down the dirt path along the village he could see them...The eyes of those who hated him, nearly everyone, nearly all eyes when he passed by the were on him

It was scary

And lonely

Naruto had made his way to his apartment

It was a complex building made specifically for soldiers or we would call them ninja. He never understood why he lived with them but they left him alone and it was sort of peaceful since many came and never came back so he would sometimes even have a whole floor for himself

"Ah home sweet home" He sighed ignoring the sign that read 'demon' on his front door. Closing the door behind him he went straight to water his numerous plants and then opened up a limited edition special spicy ramen

And you might ask why is he eating ramen again?

Because it's ramen!

However he never got to finish his ramen

Two figures dressed in long black hoods suddenly appeared within his studio apartment and grabbed him without him being able to even process what had just happened

"Hey wai!" He was cut short when one of them assailants used chakra on their fingertip and knocked the boy out thanks to a pressure point on his neck

All he could see was darkness

The sound of footsteps surrounding him and tools? Well it didn't matter to the boy. All he wanted to know was why he was taken a day before his entrance ceremony in the ninja academy

"Naruto Uzumaki"

A voice called out as the pitch black bag was taken from him covering him up

He looked up and saw 3 ninja standing in front of him while his hands were tied to his back and leaning on a tree. From what he could tell he was in a secluded area in the forest and the ninja were from a village called Kumogakure, he knew this thanks to his studying he regularly took to excel in the academy

One man finally spoke, "We are ambassadors sent from Kumo. However we came with a second mission in mind, if we were to find a red-head in the village we are to kidnap him or her and bring them to our kage"

'So thats it" Naruto thought, this wasn't looking too good

"So we need to take you!" Another screamed, but before he could move the very much predicted battle had begun. A pair kunai were thrown between Naruto and the Kumo ninja

Two ninja dressed in chunin and jounin attire appeared fighting off the ninja as one screamed, "We won't let you take the last Uzumaki and Jinchuriki!"

"Ah ah i'm glad we know that he's the 9 tails. Thank you ninja-san" The leader of the Kumo jounin laughed taking out his sword and clashing it with the kunai of the chunin

"Uzumaki? Nine Tails? Jinchuriki? What does all this mean!" Naruto, still tied up, managed to croak out. Eventually from the darkness emerged two or the three jounin with the heads of the ninja who came for him

They walked closer with grins on their faces. Naruto stayed there shocked, his only hope of those ninja to save him were gone

He was alone and was going to be taken

"Cut of his leg"

Still in shock Naruto had failed to even react when his right leg wac cut clean off up until his upper thigh

"GAHHHH" He screamed in pain finally noticing what had happened

No this cant be happening..NO NO NO NO

Suddenly within Naruto somethin had awoken. His pupils were gone and his bright blue eyes transcended into even brighter eyes like the byakugan he'd seen before. Fire started to surround him, bit this wasn't fire created from chakra no this was fire from a being, a being never seen before in the elemental nations

A phoenix

In grew larger and larger in size leaving Naruto harmless inside

His cut off foot had also begun to heal making the cut off one disappear and reappear back in its place

The two jounin could only stare in shock from what had been going on in front of them. A being said to be a figment of imagination was in front of them in all its might and fury

And it was after them with a look only given from predators to its prey. Before the could react the being swung its wings back and forth with great speed and fire began to spread in a 360 engulfing the woods with it. The ninja never stood a chance, they were dead in a split second

"My master, are you okay?" The large bird made of fire spoke. Naruto still in shock only shook his head

"Great. We shall meet again master and every time I appear I swear to protect you for it is my sworn duty as you bear the mystic eye"

Before the red head could ask about this mystic eye the being disappeared slowly with the flames still present and the glow in his eyes gone back to its normal appearance

"What just happened?" He told himself. There's no way he could go back and tell his village this, nobody would believe him so he did it

He was going to run away

The boy simply limped his way into the unknown

He was not going to be ready for what the world had in store for him

"Report Dog!" A old voice spoke. He was a aged man in a white robe facing a ninja in standard black ops attire wearing a dog mask

"The fire found in the woods was physical Hokage-sama. Also no bodies were found but my summons concluded that the bodies were burned and nothing was left but the smell of death and another weird smell they couldn't pinpoint"

"Explain dog?" The Hokage asked curious to this mysterious smell even summon dogs couldn't figure out

"Pakkun one of my summons said that there was another unknwn smell, something that he thought smelled weird like if chakra and a persons soul had connected in a weird way"

"Huh very interesting Dog. Keep me posted and continue the search parties for Naruto"

"HAI"

Leaving via sunshin he flickered across the mansion and on to the top of the Hokage mansion leaving himself deep in thought as he watched the run rise up leading to the entrance of the new academy students

"Where are you Naruto" he thought as a single tear left his eye
