Naruto: The Rise of a New Eye

Kiri - 1

--Konohagakure No Sato--

"Are you sure about this?"

The current situation went as told. Kakashi Hatake along with his genin squad and Haku/Zabuza were currently in the Hokage office briefing their C-rank turned S-rank due to the missing jinchuriki Naruto Uzumaki appearing to them

"Hai Hokage-sama"

The Hokahe sighed loudly and said, "As if having Zabuza the assassin I also have to deal with the fact that Naruto-kun appeared and has fighting power enough to face over 50 mercenaries"

They continued talking about the mission details whilst everyone else remained silent. Shika and Sakura were already gone by that point but Sasuke remained in place only looking at Haku, he had actually done this the whole time back. However he and Haku had not spoken the whole time; they were dead silent as if waiting for the other to speak first

The conversation in the Hokage office and Zabuza's admission into Konoha's forces came to an end. While Zabuza stayed back Kakashi and Sasuke accompanated Haku onto her new apartment

Once they left the Hokage spoke again, "You look like you have something to say Zabuza"

He only grunted in response and a few seconds later he finally broke

"I'm no fool Hokage-sama. I know about a dozen anbu guarding this room right now so I will be short, this Naruto you speak of is a greater threat to this village than even that Orochimaru guy. The way he fought and faced me with killer intent; that was one of the rare occasions I felt fear. He even said and I quote "I will be coming for her". And by that he meant Haku, so Hokage-sama I wish to train and be part of the reserves. I need to sharpen my skills if it comes down to me facing the Uzumaki"

Hiruzen Sarutobi only remained silent for a good amount of time. The way he feared Naruto unsettled him to no end. After all, the Naruto he knew would never even kill a fly so why would he kill those men with such violence and scare Zabuza?

It was all too complicated for him

"You are dismissed Zabuza"

And with that Zabuza left to join Haku and a man left the shadows of the room. He was wearing robes and bandages on half his face. He was the Hokage advisor, Danzo Shimura

"I told you Hiruzen. That boy is dangerous and we need to dispatch a hunter nin squad to seek and bring him back immediately"

"For this once Danzo I agree with you. Send in the anbu teams"

"Hai Hokage-sama"

--Outskirts of Kirigakure--

Naruto with his mask on his holster had finally made it into Kiri. He had walked across a river with his chakra and now he was in the dense foggy forest of the land of mist. He was informed that this land was currently in a civil war to he had to be careful not to show his bloodlines in this place or it would be the death of him

The Uzumaki continued down the forest. He would occasionally use his enhanced senses and smell or hear his surroundings. Sometimes the smells of blood would reach him, the smell of a recent battle between many shinobi became more and more evident

Naruto ultimately met face to face with death

It was horrible

He came to a large field. The smell of burned skin and dead bodies smelled and littered across the ground. It was enough to even cause Naruto drop the mask of emotionless facade and be filled with shock as his eyes widened
