« CHAPTER FIVE »

We walk to the dinner table and all sitting down

I eat my food as Helana asks for everyone's day and I burst in at Rhydian who said great

"Well let me ruin that then" I throw five pieces of paper on top of his food

"Weak huh?" I laugh "my turn now Rhyd! What do you think about me sharing this with a friend of mine?" I say with a grin on my face

"And how would you do that exactly? You don't have a phone" he says with a chuckle

I raise my phone up "mhm.. interesting" I chuckle

"How did you knew the code.." he look numb now

"I don't know babe, how did I know?" I look at him licking his lips frustratingly

"You know I can destroy these right?" He says being confused at my idea

"Oh I know, I have copies" I chuckle

"She's good" Ronas says with a chuckle

"Well thank you" I say "if you'll all excuse me now" they nod except Rhydian but I couldn't care less I just got up and left

I grabbed my pillow from my bed and lay it on the floor in the massive library along with my covers that I dragged there

I look for a book and eventually find one I like

I lay down under the covers on the pillow and I barely finish the first chapter when my eyes fluttered closed with the feeling of a victory inside of me

I hear a faint crack from the door yet my eyes didn't bother to look who it's was

I look at Aylin laying on the floor asleep what made me chuckle

You always hear people say 'oh she's different, she must be special'

But nothing about Aylin was different

She wore heels and a dress, nothing special

Yes she was the daughter of one of my biggest rivals and I could use her information

But I'm not raised to hurt woman

Why would I? All they do is be innocent

Yet again that gaze she gave me wasn't innocent at all

I walk towards her and kneel down

I look at the book but my eyes flutter to her sleeping face fast away

She didn't seem calm, she didn't seem happy

Yet again did I blame her?

I took her away from her life, for a reason

I should do this fast.. find a way to get the truth out of her without hurting her physically

I walk out of the library and go to her room

I look closely through her stuff just to have one thing that I can use against her father

I see her bag hanging over her chair in the corner I open it up and I see multiple things in it, I see pills and lipstick at least I assume is lipstick I grab the pills and keep them with me for awhile

I mutter to myself "this could do something"

I see my mother sitting in a chair silently watching the wall I get a flash back the first time she saw me come home with blood on my clothes

She didn't cry, at least not that I saw

She embraced me like it was all nothing

Maybe it is nothing

It all goes so fast, just killing someone

It grown to me like a instinct, not for my mom

I don't know what her intentions were, just like I don't know Aylin her intentions

I open my eyes the sun shining on my faces making me squeeze my eyes back shut again

I hear a sudden chuckle while I yawn

I flinch by the chuckle and rubbing my eyes as fast as I could trying to see clearly

"Took you awhile" I recognize Rhydian his voice

I let out a sleepy groan and turn my body clenched with the sheets making him only move his body towards my face and putting something in front of my closed eyes

"Like to overdose much do you?" He says out of the sudden

I open my eyes in confusion and look at the pills laying there

"Is your life honestly that miserable?" He asks again

I laugh through a yawn

"What is so funny huh?" He asks once again his dark gaze fixed on mine

"Yes I definitely like to overdose on not getting pregnant" I shrug and get up

I look at him and he is all numb

I grab his chin like he always does to me, sternly "birth control" I say with a laugh and walking away with it in my hand

I couldn't stop laughing about him being that stupid for not knowing it was birth control

I go to Helana sitting in her chair

"You know your son isn't really educated" I say to her with a snicker

"Educated?" She asked me confused

I give her the pills "he thought I was overdosing by it" I chuckle

"Oh dear" she laughs lightly

"I'm sorry he is keeping you here, I like you.." she says slowly

"I was born into a family of power, I had to fight my own brother till I was at his death bed begging him to stay a little longer" I say with a sigh "I know how this works.. I get it"

"Rhydian is cold.. very cold I don't recognize him" she says after a minute of silent

"Every time I hear someone walk through that door I'm afraid to see him covered in blood again" she says I could see the shiny layer on her eyes

"I don't tell him this but.. I can't do this longer, seeing him like that-.. so rude-less" I can hear her voice crack

"Helana stop, you don't have to talk about it" I say with a slight pity in my voice, I was strong but still had a heart, I wasn't Rhydian

"No, I needed to tell someone and you'll be gone soon, not sure how but-.. at least I told someone" she smiles kindly and gets up kissing my head "I will miss you, although I don't know you"

I let my head sink back into the chair and close my eyes thinking, what would be my next step? Or his?
